Two partners: Kwok & Cheng decided to take over an old pancake house location on West Main Street back in l985.
This was during the President Regan tax cuts which helped make it a workable deal.
In l986 the old site was transformed into what is now the most respectable Chinese/Asian restaurant throughout Connecticut, Western Mass, and New York State and is located at 597 West Main Street, New Britain, Conn.
Many dignitaries from everywhere have made a point to eat here along with many members of the state legislature, Governors, Congressional leaders and many famous business leaders from all types of enterprises--many of whom were happy to autograph their picture which was placed on the entrance wall.
So many of these VIP's have autographed photos and letters, that the entryway to the restaurant has become a makeshift museum of who's who of Connecticut and beyond.
As for the quality of the food nothing can compare to the great food that is delivered to your table by a well dressed waiter in jacket and tie.
If you have not yet tried this restaurant, you are missing out on a true award winning culinary delight located right here in our very own New Britain.
Make sure to call for reservations, especially on weekends, as they book up fast.

I have never had better Chinese food anywhere! I travel accross the state to dine here as often as possible. My family loves it too.
Not only is the food wonderful, but the entire staff is extremely courteous. All restaurants should have employees like this.
You are always treated like royalty here!
I never get tired of visiting this restaurant. The food and the service are both always superb.
We are lucky to have such a great spot here in town.
