Perhaps the State HUD Office in Hartford needs to be notified of this latest development. Let's see what happensin 2010 when HUD Funds come up for distribution by the NB DMD.
Will Verdu be placed on the WFP line also? Have Bielinski and Gerratana had their names removed from the WFP line on the ballot? As usual, more ridulous machinations from the DTC in NB.
NB Town Committee Vice Chairman Bobby Sanchez was recommended by the Democratic Town Committee to fill the current vacancy on the NB Board of Education.
It looks like the current Chairman of the DTC has boxed in Mr. Sanchez's step up to DTC Chairmanship?
Will Alderwoman Silvia Cruz be a candidate for Chairmanship?

The word in the streets of New Britain - is that the current NB DTC Chairman is looking for an English-Spanish speaking Puerto Rican woman seated as DTC Chairman.

Since when did the New Britain Democrats care about the law. So far they have been able to break the law with impunity, so why should they care now?

Busy Bee -- Check your records. Juan Verdu was NEVER on the council. He was on the Board of Education. And he did poor job at that.

Break the law it doesn't matter to the Democrats
The DTC leadership is starting to sound like a similar cast of radicals and outcasts like line-up on the council.

I guess the DTC Chairman believes that a wise Latina female would make better decisions than a white male.
Sylvia Cruz is a nice lady. That being said, she would not make the grade as a chairperson of anything. Witness her performance on the Common Council.
