Without even looking at the story, I can tell from the headline that this is about the failing New Britain Herald and many other liberal papers across the country.
The problem they have with their liberal extremism is that only 20% of Americans identify with being a liberal, while 40% of Americans identify themselves as conservatives.
This alone would explain the huge success of the few conservative papers in the country.
Maybe Editor Smith should start doing what makes business sense instead of pushing his own liberal ideology onto his decling number of readers?

Our current generation of journalists, our own Editor Smith included, has managed to turn the phrase 'journalistic integrity' into an oxymoron.
