This is unfortunate but not surprising. I have referred to the East Side of New Britain as the fogotten area of town. I am sure others will suggest other areas.
The East Side of NB abounds with numerous blighted properties, junk yards masquerading as Used Car Dealers and other types of "businesses" and also, the seemingly uncontrollable aamount of graffitti and other types of vandalism.
When burglars see a part of town where it appears that nobody is watching, they strike. It really is too bad when people do not respect the property of others.
Residents of the east side should report all instances of all kinds of problems to City Hall.
