Replace The Majority Leader on The Council
The Herald covered only the public participation portion of the council meeting due to time restraints however, one most important comment was inadvertently omitted and it was made by James Sanders Jr. with his asking the Council majority to remove Alderman Phil Sherwood as their council's Majority leader.

Noffense but, first of all it's "time restraints."
Jim Sanders, Jr. went further. He also said that the Council Dems could do even better than removing Phil as Majority Leader; Sanders said that Sherwood should be removed from the Council altogether! You go, Jim!
How much money was saved with the delay in passing the capitol equipment bond?
Apparently the public has finally had enough of the childish antics of Sherwood and Trueworthy?
Maybe Democrats need to start circulating a petition among members of their party to dump this immature buffoon as their so-called leader?
The other comment from Mr. Sanders was the best of all and I paraphrase; something like, better still instead of just getting a new majority leader remove Sherwood from the Council altogether.
Did you really expect the Herald to report anything but praise for their back door editor?
1. Let's stop all this fussing about and do what is best for New Britain. Maybe it is time for a change.
2. The Herald should stay out of politics and just do some honest reporting.

I could have predicted that Sherwood would try to derail the new police station the same way that he and his minions derailed the purchase of police cars.
That will teach them not to make an arrest when the high and mighty insists that they do--even if the late reported incident is unfounded.
It's been said for a long time now that Sherwood should be removed from the Council. He's nothing but trouble, with his weird ideas and self-grandisement. He's an embarrassment to the Democratic Party, as well as to New Britain itself. John MacNamara should be removed as Chairman of the Democratic Town Committee as well. He's an insult to all the decent chairmen of the past.
I propose that Jim Sanders Jr. replace Phil Sherwood as Council member ASAP

I do not believe that John McNamara should step down from being the Democratic town committee. After all he has LOST the last four Mayoral elections.
I knew JIM SANDERS JR in high school and that for me was a trip. But Jim you have turned yourself around and you are a credit to your parents and to the city of New Britain. You are a successful business man. I am proud to have known you. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!!!!!!
