How many people do you think even realize that every day a legislator visits the capitol, they get paid round trip mileage to do so?

Wouldn't we all like to get paid by our employers for our mileage to show up at work!

Shocking: Mileage reimbursements to be included to all the legislative membership within their retirements in addition to the state auditors.

When is this duplicity of including the mileage cost to retirements when the original payment has been made to all involved.

Even better, how about cutting the free health insurance for life and pensions paid to these legislators for their part time work? Do you know of any other part time job that provides you with free health care and a pension for life, not to mention paying you mileage to come to work?

What about the free meals? The legislature is really sacrificing for the sake of the taxpayers, as they announced they have replaced the free hot meals for all legislators and all staff in the building, with free sandwiches.

Can you feel their pain?

Dan Malloy is a clueless, yet arrogant, incompetent for leading with massive tax increases because they will backfire by driving productive citizens and businesses to relocate. The only solution is to cut state government from top to bottom and bring it in line with current revenues, end defined benefit pensions in favor of 401K's, slash welfare benefits to the able-bodied, renegotiate all public sector union contracts, and end the corruption of forced unions dues that fuel the campaigns of CT Democrats against the taxpayer interests. This corruption has got to stop.

EVERYONE is getting too much of the candy store, plus the aggregate pension plan and the health care and state debt is now at 73 Billion in the state of Connecticut.

We have all stupidly assumed that our "elected leaders" were taking care of us- but most are lawyer/legistlators trying to build their practice by giving away the candy store? .
