Ticket sales are off to a quick start: Haas said the group brought in at least $7,500 during the first week they were on sale.
The boosters are selling a maximum of 500 tickets at $100 apiece and will give away about $25,000 worth of guns — starting with a $1,600 shotgun at the Aug. 24 Meet the Eagles event to kick off the season. A $285 9 mm handgun and an $1,100 AR-15 will also be raffled off. The winners, selected every Monday at the boosters’ meetings for 52 weeks, will receive a gift certificate to Guns Plus — a gun store across the street from the high school — for the price of the gun.

Maybe Sandy Hook Elementary should have a gun raffle like this high school is doing to raise money for their new building?
They could ask Danny Boy to pick the winners!

These liberals around here would come unglued at the thought of building a gun store across the street from a school.
