The New Britain Common Council, Under the Democratic Leadership, Voted for more bonding.

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
At Last Wednesday's meeting the Democratic Leadership of the common council approved additional bonding liabilities for $33,818,000 bringing the city's total estimated gross bonding liabilities to some $70,000,000. It is no wonder why the financial industry lowered our city's bond rating because of the leadership spending attitude of the council without considering a balanced budget by resorting to bonding their way out of their financial dilemma they have created.

Our great grand children will not even be able to pay off all the debt the O'Brien administration has placed on to them as citizens considering the accrued interest that is added each month to the principal

This is befond a doubt the most foolish thing the O'Brien administration has done. This is all done to make his administration
look good. What this move make thjem look worse. The council has to go the Mator has to go the Democraric town has to go and above all John McNamara has to go,

The time is now to rid ourselves of all the Democrats. This includes the BOE dems like Saavedra, Greco and Pina.

It is time for the Fall cleaning to start.

Since most of the council members don't own any property, and live off of either some government program or government salary (some even multiple government salaries), they don't need to care because many of them don't pay the taxes to pay these debts back. They spend it and it is the rest of us that must repay these loans.

They are the entitled class riding in the wagon and the few of us left pulling the wagon must pay more and more to support their collective free ride.

Absolutely naile it.

The bulk of The Common Council is EXACTLY as you've explained, and they need to be replaced.

8 council members voted for EVERY ITEM:
Trueworthy, Bielinski, Brown, Black, Collins, Hermanowski, Centeno and Sanchez
2 voted against irrigation at Stanley- but only because it had something to do with protesting Costco.

Basically 10 council members voted for 39M of new debt. I hope something changes in November.

Nothing will change because the majority of voters now pay no taxes and live free off the dwindling number of us that are still dumb enough to work for a living and pay taxes. More people are riding in the wagon than are pulling it and this is why socialism always fails. There is no incentive to work when all the incentives are to take a free ride from the dummies that actually do work, and speaking of dummies, take a look at the majority of the council members.
