EDITORIAL:
The Democrats are Touting Greg Gerratana as being a former ward one city
councilor and a candidate on the O'Brien slate as tax collector.
The Democrats must be reminded of their choice for Tax collector as
being a former city councilor while he was living in his father's pool house in
Berlin, Ct. The Democrats should also be
reminded the Greg issued vicious and slanderous attacks posted on local blogs
against former Mayor Timothy Stewart.
The New Britain Herald investigator reporter decided to investigate into these attacks and was
able to determined that the serial attacks came from state computers in the
LOB. He subsequently admitted to the
Herald Reporter to these offenses. He
was immediately suspended of his post as Representative O'Brien's aid and immediately resigned from his campaign for
New Britain's tax collector because of the LOB scandal.
Now in the 2013 The Democrats who have short memories have again
selected Greg Gerratana to be their Tax Collector Candidate.
Many are asking what purified this tainted individual who had to
resigned from his Candace for tax collector during the last election cycle due
the LOB scandal?

another testament to this young man's character- apparently his wife owns / part owns a printing company where last election ALL democratic candidates were "encouraged" to do their printing- well one candidate still hasnt paid for their printing bill because they were severly overcharged. A few others have openly questioned and complained about bills that we often double or triple what they should have been......the perks of being a NB Liberal i guess.
You want this guy handling your taxes? What a bad joke played on NB's hard working and honest taxpayers.

For how many years did O'Brien's choice for Tax Collector get away with not paying taxes in New Britain while serving on the New Britain Town Council? As I recall didn't he have his car registered in Berlin to save on the same taxes he would now be forcing everyone else to pay?
He will beat CB just you see.

I wonder if he has wet dreams of what he can do once he gets his hands on all those computers? Look what happened when it was a violation of state policy to use the computer for political or personal purposes! Imagine what can happen when he is in charge of all your private personal information!
Can anyone say pond scum? This child is a product of a deceitful father and a do nothing political whore of a mother! Just what we need someone of this guys character being able to look at all of our personal tax information in city hall. No votes in our house!

Frank, I guess they just assumed that you are like most other Democrats just another brain dead Democrat who votes only for Democrats regardless of how questionable or sleazy their past is.
Can someone post the complete story as was in the herald about this guy?
