Passing the only one I have seen so far even after
driving around much of the city, I did a double take when seeing the Gerratana
name in extra large print but having very small print that isn't easy to notice
indicating "tax collector."
It gave me the impression that it was our state
Senator, his mother, that is running and not Greg. Of course to further this false image, his first
name doesn't appear on it at all.
Just deceitful.

Just imagine the potential with all those computers in the tax collector's office!
Maybe he'll be the first to send out a racist email about and indian in a 7-11 on city computers? Wait, he can't be the first, that's already been done.
It's like the twig blight zone this year. How do these idiots get away with such hubris!?
I heard that the possible reason the "tax collector" is so small is that this is just a stepping stone to the mayors office and that way the signs might be reused by covering over the office.
Deceitful just like his father! He has been pretending to be a doctor for years!
It's telling that on the same weekend my mothers door was doorknocked for the 2nd time by a democratic volunteer that I turn on my computer and read the republicans are spending their time to complain about lawn signs. Telling, very telling.
You know what is telling? Nov. 5 will be really telling. And hopefully McNamara leaving will be really telling.
Lived in a pool house in Berlin while elected to the New Britain City Council while not even living in town (didn't he have to resign in disgrace). Wasn't the purpose for living in Berlin while a member of New Britain's council in order to avoid paying the outrageously high New Britain taxes that he helped pass as an Alderman? And now he wants to be the tax collector with such a sorted history?
Funny...I had one of those O'Brien volunteer idiots stop by my house the other day....I asked him point blank, how does stealing $15 million from the water dept. Turn into a budget "surplus"? I asked how does it feel to be helping a guy who stole money from the people who pay taxes only to use it as a payoff to Roy Occhiogrosso .....
I was just about ask how much money was "made" off the Oktoberfest, but he was already running away by that point....

I notice you had to go to O'Brien's house to even find one of these lawn signs. They are very rare finds around the city while the "Team Stewart" signs are everywhere. Isn't that the real story that has these radical extremist liberals coming unhinged?
Name an election where the democrat had more signs then the republican. It's hard.
And democrats keep beating us.
So perhaps we should be talking about getting votes rather than who has the most colorful lawn signs!!!

I BELIEVE IF YOU FOLLOW THIS STORY BACK TO ITS ORIGIN, YOU WILL FIND THAT THIS PARTICULAR DISCUSSION WAS STARTED BY A PROMINENT DEMOCRAT.
I heard several people were forced to put up O'Brien signs. At least one told me that they aren't even voting for O'Brien!
Give me a break. No one is forcing people to put up OBrien lawn signs. This is exactly why the Republicans keep losing. They keep focusing on this trivial nonsense while they are out knocking on doors.
Typical sleazy scumbag tactics of the Democrats. They tell you that if you don't put up the sign, you will be sorry, and if you work for the city or have to do business with the city, you know you will be punished for not putting up a sign for someone you wouldn't vote for in a million years.
I have had 2 people here in town tell me that Democrats put up signs in front of their homes without asking permission. Both of them took them down and then asked me to replace them with Republican signs. One of them asked me to line his property with all the Republican signs I could get because he wanted to make a statement.
Yup, lawn signs are why the democrats keep winning. Yup, that must be it.
Could be more likely that more people are riding in the wagon than are pulling it and the Democrats keep promising them more and even more free stuff at the expense of those few of you that are still dumb enough to work and pay taxes.
