think there's a connection between the meltdown on wall street today and what happened in washington today?
the market closed at a lower level than it did the day after the election. they kept referring the "hemorrhaging" on the business channel. the financial world certainly doesn't show any confidence in our new leaders or the market would have gone up.
I wondered how much the government spent on Security; you would think that in poor times, they could keep it as cheap as possible and think of a better way to have the inauguration. The government is always wasting tax payers’ money. This is why they are always trying to extort more money from the population they serve.
I heard that the federal government spent over $150,000,000 on this inauguration and that it was more than four times the cost of any inauguration because of all the special effects that Obama is so fond of. So much for Change!
$150,000,000 could have done a lot of good elsewhere. Perhaps he could have learned from Governor Rell who deferred the celebration after her election to save the taxpayer's the expense.
Yes! A great moment in American History!
ReplyDeleteYou think this is an honor? I wouldn't want to be hailed by a piece of crap like Larson.
