Capitol is required for growth. The million dollar question is whether BO's approach will actually stimulate growth or push this country further into debt. Based on the greed and outright theft being committed in every segment of society including the goverment, it doesn't look very promising. The only other solution is to tighten the belt. Growth will follow with tightening up, first correction then a return to growth. Even the democrats in the Senate are holding back on approving the President's plan. What is BO's experience in economic recovery? On the job training. Woops!
Americans are used to April 15th being the day you're told to pay up.
This year, Tax Day is the day to say you're TEA'd - Taxed Enough Already.
As you read this, liberals in Congress are beginning the process of forcing passage of the $3.6 trillion, high-spending, high-borrowing and high-taxing Obama budget.
President Obama is even mobilizing teams of his presidential campaign supporters, now a political organization called Organizing for America, who are going door-to-door campaign style to pitch his irresponsibly massive government expansion program that will raise taxes on every single American.
And what could they possibly be saying about a budget that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office predicted last week will lead to deficits $2.3 trillion larger than the Obama White House is telling us?
Once again, we see Washington promoting irresponsible spending and expecting responsible taxpayers to foot the bill.
was reading the blog today and it reminded me of an old post
October 25, 2008 11:28 AM Anonymous said... At a restaurant in the greater New Britain area our waiter had on a "Obama 08" tie, again we all laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came - we all decided not to tip the server and explained to him that we were exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept.
He stood there in disbelief while we told him that we were going to redistribute his tip to someone who we deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside the restaurant. The server angrily stormed from our sight.
We went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 bill and our doggy bags and told him to thank the server inside as We've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of our rather unscientific redistribution experiment we realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that we gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved the money more.
We figured that the redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in a practical application. ---------------------------------

Radio talk show host Dennis Miller said today that Obama would need a telepromter to read an eye chart!
