Ms. Doninger not being allowed to run in the school elections was a joke. Clearly there was not an established policy for what students wrote on blogs and in internet based forumns.
Sounds to me like the school principle stepped over the line.
What ever happened to detention for using foul language.
For the school to go to such lengths to punish the young lady rather than try to use the situation as a lesson to teach students that what you may believe is a peronal conversation is in fact being brodcast to the entire community shows that she may have been correct they just might be................!!

holding people accountable for their actions goes against everything that Democrats believe in.
