Rush Limbaugh had it right when he said that without religion … there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments.
Nice photo. Because of the cult of personality, I was sure that it was a photo of him doing the traditional German salute, but it looks like he might be pointing, although you never know because he denies he was bowing to the king, but instead dropped a quarter and was picking it up.
Are we a Christian nation? Probably not as much as we were in the past. Are the ideals that the republic was founded on Christian virtues? Of course they are. Sadly many people believe there is no place for religion in modern society. The radical elements of the three major religions have had the opposite effect that the radicals had hoped for. People are starting to attach these radical beliefs to mainstream believers and starting to see all people of faith as loony. All the major religions need leaders who understand that morality must include acceptance of other faiths. This does not mean that one must abandon their own beliefs but rather that one must believe that when one restricts the practice of faith it diminishes us all.

it's people who we are.
