Mark Fortin, Julie Swan, Carol Zesuit, Officer Raynis and others put on a great presentation...I'm now considering starting a Block Watch in my neighborhood.

Mark, Julie nice job.

For those of you who don't know Mark and Julie spend an unimaginable amount of their personal time volunteering within the city and at city hall. Two truly outstanding citizens who deserve a big thank you.

Who invited those rotten democrats?

The democrats are the ones who rob houses and sell drugs anyways. Why should they come.

Mark and Julie are wonderful people who care much about the city of New Britain.

Mark has been a great inspiration to me and has always done his best for our community. His ability to be open and fair, considering every feasible option and opportunity shows his commitment to all people regardless of affiliation or sociological background. He is an oasis in a desert land.

Julie is also extremely dedicated to our community. She is a very kind and caring person who lights up a room by simply entering. Her dedication to the Fire Commission shows her tireless commitment to her fellow citizens and we are fortunate to have her serve in this capacity.

Both Mark and Julie have proven their commitment to our city time and time again. I look forward to seeing them serve in greater capacity in our near future.

By the way, Mark, you should have received an award for your commitment as well. IMO

I only noticed 2 Democratic council members there...It appeared there were more Republicans attending than Democrats...that shows who is more concerned about the safety and welfare of our neighborhoods.
Recognition should go to Rich Marzi, who is very active in the Willow Street area...way to go, Rich!!

It seems as though Democrats only show up to something when they expect to be wined and dined and to mix with what they might see as influential people; e.g., while Council Democrats delayed and obstructed the acceptance of Jordan Caterers as the permittee to run the Stanley Golf Course restaurant concession, at least four of them showed up at the Grand Opening party last week, including phony Phil Sherwood - hypocritical to the end.

To be fair, there were four Council Dems at the NRZ meeting. Rich Marzi, a Dem shill was also present. Of course the only food was coffee and donut holes.

Last I knew, Rich Marzi is an Independent voter...neither Democrat nor Republican

From Mark Fortin:

Thanks for the kind words... very well written.

While I don't volunteer to get recognition, it is warming to know that the effort doesn't go un-noticed. Many thanks to all who attended. It was nice to see many new faces, and the usual attendees who also care very much about the City.

Mark.

I also know Julie and Mark and they not only do alot for the city but for the friends as well. They don't always get a thank you and some people get upset with choices that they have made but they do the best they can for the city and the people that live here. Keep up the good work and THANK YOU for all that you do.
