  1. Frank,

I have posted Mr Cadeloris sorted past and associated reprimands from his days with the Google's and Sisti's of the world on this blog in the past.

    People should't be surprised.

When will the voters learn. When this guy was given his position as Chairmen the masses should have been outraged, But they weren't!

    SAD BUT TYPICAL

  2. Didn't I just read a story about how Mayor Stewart had questions about a mysterious $500,000 transfer at Mattabassett?

    Good question Mr. Mayor!

  3. Is this the best person that the council Democrats could come up with to manage a $10 million annual budget of the public's money????

  4. Another fine example of Democratic leadership in New Britain politics!

Chairman McNamara must be proud of one of his underlings!

Late last year, William P. Candelori, a former state lawmaker and executive at Colonial, pleaded guilty to Federal tax evasion for failing to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income.

  6. And Trueworthy spent an hour and 15 minutes Wednesday badgering our Finance Director and Public Works Director about why sewer use rates went up. He was reminded about the fact that NB has 7 votes on the Mattabassett Commission and they are all Dems except one. Candelori is the Chair of the Commission. Any questions?
What was Trueworthy's solution to the rise in sewer rates? GET THIS NOW, "FIRE THE NB PUBLIC WORKS BOARD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DIDN'T SAY FIRE THE NB MATTABASSETT COMMISSIONERS!!!!!!! HE HAD HIS BOSOM BUDDY SHERWOOD HELP HIM ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER DEMOCRATS PRESENT AND VOTING. CHECK IT OUT NEXT WEDNESDAY OR FRIDAY.

  10. Not only will none of this stuff matter to the Democrats on the council, Trueworthy, Sherwood and their band of merry men will no doubt make sure this guy gets reappointed at the end of his term.

He is a Democrat, and no matter what he does and regardless of his past, he can do no wrong in the eyes of the radical extremists that have hijacked the city council.

  11. Let's get this straight. Trueworthy has known since 6/25/09 that Tartaglia & Associates would be on vacation and could not make the 7/7 meeting of the PZH nor could they make the 7/14 meeting at DiLoreto that he alone had planned. Nobody else on the PZH had anything to do with planning the 7/14/meeting. Trueworthy is a ham handed, power hungry oaf. He expects everyone to respond like slaves (like his Dem Council majority) to his rambling edicts and Common Council orations. His own people are embarassed by his ridiculous, incoherent ramblings.
If anybody attends his 7/14 meeting at DiLoreto, it will be his hand picked sycophants.

  12. Colonial Realty reincarnated?

  13. Amazing isn't it. The greed just continues and the honest people just keep getting it up the you know what. We all do pay for that
6.5 million one way or another. These professional white collar criminals just keep on with their beach front homes, sports cars, boats. Nice! and Willian Candelori
is in charge of the Mattabasset Discrict. People on this blog have
posted previously to give the guy
a break. That time has gone by and
he is doing his job... haaaaaa he is doing his job alright.

  14. Just another disaster for the council Democrats to deal with at election time.

They can't blame this one on the mayor.

State law puts the city council in charge of making appointments to Mattabassett and with their holier than though, we can do whatever we want and no one can ever touch us attitude, they (the council Democrats) are the only ones that can be blamed for putting a former partner of the Colonial Realty "Madoff like" real estate scandal in charge of millions of dollars of your money.

As this latest scandal at Foxwoods develops, remember there are 13 people you can blame for this man controlling millions of dollars of your money!

  15. this is a record at the secretary of state showing Candelori as an employee of Winn Development when he contributed to Chris Shays. Did you guys ever approve any contracts for Winn at Mattabassett?

  17. I'm not paying my water bill until
they get rid of Candelori. I suggest others do the same. We can
have a referendum about his position like Berlin did regarding their "trash".

IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH CANDELORI BEING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SEWER PLANT, REMEMBER HE IS APPOINTED BY THE COUNCIL DEMOCRATS, SO THE BEST WAY TO SHOW YOUR DISAPPROVAL IS TO VOTE AGAINST THE 13 "UNTOUCHABLES" IN NOVEMBER. SHOW YOUR DISAPPROVAL BY NOT VOTING FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

    Suzanne Bielinski
    Michael Truworthy
    Paul Catanzaro
    Adam Platosz
    Tonilynn Collins
    Shirley Black
    Roy Centeno
    Silvia Cruz
    Gregory Gerratana
    Larry Hermanowski
    Eva Magnuszeski
    Lori Rocha
    Phil Sherwood

They put him there, so the best way to remove him, is to remove them. Isn't it about time we started holding this bunch of renegades accountable to the people they are supposed to be serving?

  19. This appeared on the "Feather Blog" a tribal blog spot:

According to Sovereign, the investors with an interest in that property include some of the principal characters in the collapse of Colonial Realty in the 1990s, Connecticut's own Madoff-style Ponzi scheme in which local investors lost hundreds of millions of dollars.

Among those with an interest in the Groton property that was put up to secure Thomas' loan, the bank said in court papers, are Jonathan Googel, a Colonial founder who pleaded guilty in federal court to wire fraud, bank fraud and tax fraud; Kevin Sisti, the son of another Colonial founder, who pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge for taking loan proceeds for his father, and William P. Candelori, a former state lawmaker and Colonial executive, who pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion.

  20. OH WHERE, OH WHERE COULD THAT HALF A MIL BE, OH WHERE OH WHERE COULD IT BE?

“Another critical issue that impacts New Britain’s sewer rate is the escalating operating costs and pending construction costs at the Mattabassett regional processing plant,“ Stewart said. He is reviewing a transaction passed by the Mattabassett Board in May that transferred $500,000 from its excess operation funds account to a capital account.

“At the very least, this transaction raises questions about overcharges that should have been returned to New Britain ratepayers,” he said.
