  1. Wal-Mart defeats any union that tries to organize at any of its stores, so why would they care about a bunch of union agitators, led by an extremist like O'Brien and joined by ACORN and the radical group Working Families Party protesting at a store that they have already slated for closure at the end of the month?

Now that I know how much this group dislikes Wal-Mart, it will give me even more pleasure to do all my shopping at one of their other area stores. Just to know this group is against them is the only reason I need to give them my business!

By the way, isn't this how it started in the first place? Sherwood and O'Brien protested and they later decided to close the store down?

Sounds like O'Brien never let a chance to protest with fellow radicals pass him by.

  2. What one voter thinks of Tim O'Brien:

How will he attract big business?
    He supported
the protest at our Walmart to employ certain managers to compliment their employees? If he is going to dictate how businesses should be run, will businesses want to move here? Walmart has decided not to stay here. Like Walmart or not can you imagine your employees holding a protest about the language being spoken on the job in America and the local politicians are there backing the in-subordination? Tim O'Brien backed the in-subordination against business in New Britain. Goodbye Walmart.

  4. Representatives of Connecticut Working Families, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 371 President Brian Petronella and Rep. Tim O’Brien, D-24th District said they wanted to send a message to the company to not leave their workers out in the cold.

“I’m very concerned about the workers who may be losing their jobs and their severance,” said O’Brien. “I want to stand up for the workers.”
    Wow, That's profound!

O’Brien announced that he is a candidate for mayor in the November election. That's the real reason for his concerns.

John Green, director of Connecticut Working Families, said he worries many of the employees will have trouble finding jobs with the current economic conditions. Wow, another revelation! from the WFP. Maybe the employees ought to start being more faithful to WalMart. Stay tuned, more tomorrow.
