  1. This is one of those stories you will never read about in the ultra left leaning New Britain Herald!

  2. Rep. Maxine Waters Says 'Neanderthals' Oppose Dem Health Plan,

This is the same Maxine Waters who commended Mr. Franlyn Raines on his running of Fannie Mae!

    Someone needs a reality check!

  3. Democratic Congressmen are acknowledging that the President's plan is NOT ABOUT PROVIDING COVERAGE TO THE UNINSURED!!!!!!!!!!!

Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.) said on Wednesday that providing healthcare to uninsured Americans is "not what this healthcare reform debate is about."

  4. Simple math says that rationing will have to occur, costs will have to dramatically increase, or some measure of both. There is simply no way even the 8 million truly uninsured (once we discount illegal aliens, those already eligible, and those who opt out) can be added to the system without increasing overall costs. If they actually REDUCE costs, then the only way the numbers can be made to fit is to reduce total service (meaning rationing). It doesn't have to be written into the bill to be a fact. Unfortunately for those who learned "new math" from liberals in the education system, fewer dollars spread amongst more people does not equal more care per person.

  6. At least the Repubs are trying to make sure that when people get older, they are not screwed of their rights. Funny how no libtards put such a bill together, especially since they are the ones who want the right to refuse care to the elderly based on cost benefit analysis.

  7. At least one party is willing to stand for seniors rights even if the Democrats clearly don't care about our elderly citizens!

  8. Senior citizens need to take note that the Republican Party is looking out for their well being when the Democrats are demonstrating that they don't give a damn about you!

  9. How about we start with TORT reform so the insuance premiums go down for doctors and they pass those savings on to us, then we move to Medicade reform - stop providing unlimited healthcare for women who continually have babies and suck off the system - then we move to Medicare - and fix the things wrong with that. After the government makes all these reforms and we see how it's going for a couple of years - then we can talk about gov. running healthcare for all. Until then - I have no interest in in and will fight with everything I have against it. I want the government out of my business until they prove they can be a good partner.

  10. In my life, I have never seen a proposal by Republicans to hurt Medicare. What I have seen are the scare tactics of the Democrats going to Senior Centers saying that the Republicans want to destroy Medicare. It's never happened. The Republicans added Medicare Part D, and every year the Republicans had control of Congress, Medicare spending increased. Now the Democrats want to cut $500 Billion from Medicare, and they wanted to gut Medicare Advantage. Recently the Administration re-released a VA Handbook which guilts disabled and terminally ill Veterans to cease being a burden to their families, and you libs attacked us when we pointed out the Death Panels in the health care bill none of you have read. Seems we know all to well what you are about.

  11. I have an idea! Let's strip seniors of all their healthcare, put them in striped pajamas and send them off to camp. They've had their turn in the sun now it's your turn. Besides you need what they have more than they do. Of course it'll never happen to you - that is unless your children learn their lesson well...

  12. "First they came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."

  13. Think the seniors like giving up their pay raises while union thugs are getting 8, 10 or even 15% raises?

  14. Obama is now offering seniors a "Hemlock Society"?

  15. Great I like it. Seniors Bill of Rights. Lets all listen to all of the excuses that the Dems use to not go for it. If everything is as Obama says ( which is not in a bill yet. ) This should be no problem to assure seniors. But we all know, it isnt as Obama says, and this will be a problem...it cuts in to the savings they were planning. Please no one tell me it isnt true..Ive read and re-read and followed all of the addendums, after awhile when people keep saying its not there when it is......well it gets a little irritating.

  16. O'Reilly showed tonight that it is unconstitutional for them to force anyone to purchase health insurance or anything else in America.

They will not be able to enforce their plan, as a team of Constitutional scholars tonight said it can not be enforced in this country and the courts will simply invalidate their forcing people to have insurance, and Obama is supposed to be some sort of Constitutional expert???

  17. The joke is on you. It is called Obama. He is the Great Pretender. He pretends to be black. He pretends to be Christian. He pretends to moderate. He pretends to be honest. None of which is true.
