The New Britain Democrats are infamous for ousting their own - the most recent tirade was against the 16 year veteran town clerk Peter Denuzze where the town committee, under direction of tyrant John McNamara (no relation to former Mayor McNamara) voted to endorse the underqualified Suzanne Bielinski instead.

Denuzzze gets thrown under the bus democratic style by the DTC along with his Town committee membership.

Very much and similar to the way the DTC treated former Democrat Majority Leader Bernacki.

Mark Bernacki did the right thing by joining the Republican party...he's as smart as ever, and continues to care much for New Britain. If all those who were dropped from the DTC joined the Republican party, the Democrats would really be up the creek!!
