I am sick and tired of Obama telling people he is going to let them keep their health care plan if they like it. Who does he think he is to make decisions for you about who you can and can't do business with. This assumed authority not granted to him in the Constitution should scare the hell out of everyone. How far are we from becoming a dictatorship when one man can just decide he has this kind of authority over all of out lives?
This is all about control and NOT healthcare! Everyone will be assigned to a hospital. They say the one nearest to your home but don't count on that... I know that the inner city hospitals are in really sad shape. The hospitals outside the city are brand new and expanding. Several new ones are just being built. So here it comes.... The rich Suburbanites will get their care at nice new 'Hotel-like' hospitals and those in the inner cities will get care at old, dirty ones. Isn't this what Bobo's wife did in Chicago? If a poor person ended up at the University of Chicago Hospital they were sent to a clinic that provided little to no care. This kept the poor out of the hospital so the rich didn't have to see and deal with them. ACORN and the poor are being used AGAIN and they better open their eyes before it's too late.
Many promoters of health care reform believe that people have an intrinsic ethical right to health care-to universal and equal access to doctors, medicines, and hospitals. While all of us can empathize with those who are sick, how can we say that all people have any more of an intrinsic right to health care than they have an intrinsic right to food, clothing, owning their own homes, a car or a personal computer?
The previous post has it correct. While many democratic voters think the health care proposed will put everyone on an even playing field, nothing is further than the truth. The inner city hospitals will decline based on goverment dependence. The middle class and working class will be harmed the most as they lose their private health care option. Only the wealthy will receive advanced care.
This clown tells so many lies, I am not sure if he even knows what the truth is anymore?
