Sorry Mr. DeFronzo where credit is due we need to commend The Herald for informing the voting public of how our hard earned tax dollars are being spent. The state office building, the computer, the salary are all paid for by the taxpayer. We all paid for this blogger to attack the mayor and his family.
Mr. Garrantana is a young alderman and a young aid to Representative O'Brien. This admission is proof of his lack of experience and maturity. He is asking the public to elect him tax collector!
Proof of goverment waste hard at work.
ps: This circle of friends and family seem to have alot of taxpayer paid positions?
Along these same lines, I thought the statement from Michael Trueworthy was very telling of this elected official's personality as well.
Trueworthy is quoted as "blasting" the Herald, and then quoted as saying that this is something Gerratana did at his place of employment and "I don't have anything to say about that" as if Gerratana works at some private employer and it is none of our business what he does while in their employment.
It is very troubling that the majority leader of our city council has that kind of cavalier attitude about how your tax dollars are abused or wasted. I guess Mr. Trueworthy needs to be reminded that this activity was done by a state employee, on a state computer, in violation of state regulations and possibly even while on state payroll to be performing his legislative duties helping the constituents of Representative O'Brien's district--mainly the taxpayers of New Britain.
This entire incident should shed much light into the reasons why city hall has been so dysfunctional with the current leadership of the council and their constant attitude of doing anything in their power to obstruct the mayor at any cost--usually your cost.
What a response from Defronzo. It is ok because it was not an employee of the Senate? It is OK that it was an employee of the House of Representatives who happens to be a city alderman, and candidate for Tax Collector, and this is our Senator?
Of course Senator DeFronzo is critical of the Herald's coverage of the degrading use of state computers. It brought to light the integrety of the New Britain legislators staff. If it were Republicans who were behind it, the Dems would be all over them!! The truth may hurt, but it will also set you free!!
Remember this not only this November, but next November as well. We need some GOOD candidates to run against O'Brien and DeFronzo at the state level. This doesn't stop just at the local level. All of this garbage goes on at all levels. The only solution is new blood, that isn't in it for themselves, but rather the people.
This is how the liberals fabricate as much dishonesty as possible to stir up the pot. They think that it will help their cause to intimidate people, but this is going to cause the biggest backlash that you can think of. As an Independent they have lost my vote for everything.

ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with these people????

ReplyDeleteImagination the condemnation from this total phony if it were a Republican involved?
ReplyDeleteWhen one if his fellow liberals is caught, it is OK?

ReplyDeleteThis year city hall, next year--the legislature!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can give O'Brien the benefit of losing 2 years in a row!
As I have often said, get new leadership on the RTC and you might get really good candidates. It needs energy and not the same old, same old!
ReplyDeleteFROM THE DOMCRATIC RULE BOOK; ITS OK TO GET CAUGHT BECAUSE NO ACTION WILL EVER BE TAKEN AGAINST YOU.
ReplyDeleteTHAT RULE DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY REPUNBLICAN.
