Didn't someone promise that the stimulus package would keep unemployment under 8% and that if we didn't pass the stimulus right away, unemployment would reach 10%?

Those words had to have been said by Congressman Murphy using his powers of mental telephony since he never read the 1,000 pages stimulus bill!
