THE BEEHIVE LIGHTS

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:

AT THE LAST council meeting the democratic leadership didn't like to see the parks and recreation department get all of the LOCIP funds by their insisting that the "wealth should be spread around" by the money being equally shared with all the other city departments.

"Sharing the wealth" is a mantra of another Democrat's failed policies.

Yes indeed, sharing the wealth is turning our city into a socialist disaster.

After Alderwoman Shirley Black introduced the resolution and with the charade played out by both Trueworthy and Sherwood, the rest of the Democrats voted against their own resolution! A great show but, the admittance price is too costly for the taxpayers.

The lights need replacement and by sharing the wealth with all the other departments, the safety issues continue to befall the Beehive.

Maybe a motion of rescission should be introduced at Wednesday's council meeting in order to rescind the outcome. How many additional stadium visitors need to be injured due to the poor lighting before these Democrats awake from their slumber?

  1. Watching the council Democrats is like watching a bunch of children, only problem is they don't seem to realize that they're playing with other people's money.

  2. Frank,

Can you run the information regarding Michelle Obama's personal
staff if you haven't already. She
employes 22 people vs. other first
    ladies that never exceeded 3?

    Thank you

  3. What an absurd idea, "spreading the wealth"!! Spend the money for what it's intended for...put in a new lighting system for Beehive Field...Otherwise, it will cost more in the long run. DUH!

  4. Didn't one of these brilliant Democrats ask the head of the parks department to identify when the light bulbs would burn out?

Sounds like someone's bulb isn't burning too bright, but that goes without saying as they are Democrats.
