We will be making a motion this evening Wednesday 01/27/10 of NB Common Council to reconsider the LOCIP funding for Beehive...
We do feel bad for the other projects that never got the opportunity to be considered for the LOCIP funding because of the Council being pressured to abandon a 30 year LOCIP process.
We hope in the future, for the sake of fairness, we look at all eligible projects collectively.
Council members should keep in mind that many of the students who appeared at the Council meeting will be eligible to vote at the next municipal election in 2 years. They are also likely be those wanting to use Beehive Field in the evening, thus keeping off the streets. LISTEN TO THEM!!!
The Democrats in Congress don't seem to mind stealing from our children and grandchildren, so why should the local council Democrats?
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone will be able to tell the Democrats when the light bulbs will burn out?
ReplyDeleteFighting over light bulbs…what has our local government come too? It’s sickening!
