Someone needs to look into how many state employees are paid in excess of $1 million. A brief scan showed UConn has 3 of them. The Dept of Children and Families Commissioner shows up on the list as making $1,537,000. This means based on the information on the list she will will join the 3 UCONN employees as retiring with a pension of somewhere in the neighborhood of $700,000 to $800,000 per year, based on her $1,537.000 salary.
Isn't something wrong when public employees are paid 10 times what the Governor makes?
