  1. It's about time. I can't wait to see Joe Arpaio start rounding them all up and throwing them in prison where they belong!

How many do you think will come here if they know when they are caught, they face a year of hard labor, wearing pink ladies underwear in Joe Arpaio's tent city in the 120 degree desert?????

    Not too many!

  2. What normal thinking person could have any issue with this:

The law makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It also requires local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal immigrants; allows lawsuits against government agencies that hinder enforcement of immigration laws; and makes it illegal to hire illegal immigrants for day labor or knowingly transport them.

  3. WE STAND WITH ARIZONA AND GOVERNOR JAN BREWER OF ARIZONA!

    WE stand against illegal immigration.

WE stand against the Federal government's refusal to secure the borders or enforce the law.

WE support Arizona's lone, brave fight to enforce the rule of law with their new legislation that enjoyed broad, bi-partisan support.

WE reject any slander or aspersions against the People of the state of Arizona, that this law is about racism, or xenophobia, or "apartheid", rather than the truth: Arizona is doing the job the Feds won’t do — taking the law and our borders seriously to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens first.

WE reject and refuse to participate in any boycott of the great State of Arizona.

WE will do everything WE can to support the people and economy of the State of Arizona, by supporting its companies and products, and to visit its incomparable natural attractions.

WE call on the United States government to start doing its job according to the Constitution: Secure the Borders, Enforce the immigrations laws, Protect its citizens.

  4. PHOENIX ARIZONA : Gov. Jan Brewer ignored criticism from President Barack Obama and signed into law a bill supporters said would take handcuffs off police in dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona, the nation's busiest gateway for human and drug smuggling from Mexico.

With hundreds of protesters outside the state Arizona Capitol shouting that the bill would lead to civil rights abuses, Arizona Gov. Brewer said critics were "overreacting" and that she wouldn't tolerate racial profiling.

  5. Anti-immigrant anger has swelled in the state of Arizona this past month, after Arizona rancher Rob Krentz was found dead on his land north of town of Douglas,Arizona near the Mexico border.

Arizona Authorities believe he was fatally shot by an illegal alien immigrant possibly connected to a drug smuggling Mexican cartel.

  6. Arizona citizens consistently have been critical of the U.S. government’s failure to secure their border with Mexico, and that their anxiety has increased with growing drug violence along the Arizona border.

While many Democrats in Washington, D.C. view immigration reform as a way to legalize the 10 million or more illegal alien immigrants in the country, 73% of voters in Arizona now say gaining control of the border is more important than legalizing the status of these undocumented alien workers.

  7. President Barack Obama called anew for overhauling the nation’s immigration laws, saying a failure to do so will lead to “misguided” efforts such as legislation passed in Arizona.

“Our failure to act responsibly at the federal level will only open the door to irresponsibility by others,” Obama said at a Rose Garden naturalization ceremony for 24 members of the U.S. military. “That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona.”

The Arizona state legislature passed a bill that would make it a state crime to be in Arizona and the U.S. illegally and require local police in the state of Arizona to determine the immigration status of anyone an officer suspects of being in the country without proper state documentation.

  9. Arizona: No less than three Phoenix Arizona city police officers have been killed on-duty by illegal immigrants.

Most recently, a rancher from the rural southern Arizona town of Douglas was murdered at the hands of an illegal immigrant.

Robert Krentz had a reputation of being a “good Samaritan” to illegal immigrants stuck along the roadside while attempting to cross the desert.

But that didn’t stop an illegal immigrant from gunning-down Krentz and robbing him, as he tended his own land back on March 30th 2010.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much??? Maybe Obama is afraid that if he goes to Arizona, Sheriff Joe will lock him up in tent city because of his own potential illegal alien status since he wasn't born in America????

  11. We have a member of the Council claims to want other countries flags put in City Hall! Should we tolerate this?! Would Mexico fly our flag in their government buildings!

Hopefully our Council bulldog Lou Salvio will put a stop to these bleeding heart shenanigans!!! All council members should wear an American flag lapel pin. IT SHOULD BE THE LAW!
