So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 9 months -- so you'll have three years and three months to come up with an answer.
WASHINGTON:- President Barack Obama has warned the Governor of Arizona that without federal immigration reform the door would be open to "misguided efforts" such as a new Arizona law that has raised questions of civil rights.
ReplyDeleteJust hours after Obama singled out the Arizona measure as threatening "to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans," when the Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into effect the toughest immigration law in the United States.
Democratic leaders in Congress are weighing whether to try this year to push through immigration reform, a contentious issue in the United States where about 10.8 million illegal immigrants live and work in the shadows.
Obama's Democratic Party fear a political backlash from Hispanics in the November 2010 congressional elections because the issue has made little headway since Obama took office.
But many conservatives oppose easing the pathway to citizenship for illegal alien immigrants and complain they drain resources and take jobs from Tax Paying U.S. citizens.
After Arizona's woman governor Jan Brewer signed the legislation that is now the nation’s toughest law against illegal immigrants, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said President Obama had asked that the Justice Department look into any civil rights implications?????
However you stand on this issue of the Arizona tough immigration bill, it is completely ridiculous to label this a civil rights violation, because civil rights can only be extended to U.S. citizens.
ReplyDeleteNEW YORK -- The Rev. Al Sharpton says he's ready to travel to Arizona and march in the streets to protest the state's new immigration law.
ReplyDeleteSharpton joined Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation in New York City to speak out against the law.
They say activists are prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight the Arizona law.
You missed the best part of Obama's idiocy, He gave the queen of England DVD's of the anointed one's speeches, but the DVD's were Region 1, which means they won't play in Europe, so if the queen wants to watch her new videos, she would have to visit the US or Canada.
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't forget about how Obama presented the Dalai Lama with cuff links with the presidential seal on them--only problem is the Dalai
Lama only wears sleeveless robes.
Now that is stupidity you can believe in.
No wonder Obama has never yet reached the public approval level that George W. Bush enjoyed. I would guess OBama will never during his entire 4 years as president, will never reach the popularity of George W.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, this new law only mirrors the current federal law, and he also mentioned that if Obama had such issues then he should look at the federal law first.
ReplyDeleteTake a look at this.

And yes Bush was an Idiot too, I think this is now a prerequisite for being a President of the United States.
Don't forget how many times Obama desribed the navy corpsman as a "CORPS" MAN, and yet he is supposed to be the commander in chief?
ReplyDeleteWhat a buffoon!
MEXICO CITY – Amnesty International called the abuse of migrants in Mexico a major human rights crisis and accused some Mexico officials of turning a blind eye or even participating in the kidnapping, rape and murder of migrants passing through Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThe group's report comes at a sensitive time for Mexico government which is protesting the passage of a law in Arizona that criminalizes undocumented migrants.
The Mexico Interior Department acknowledged in a statement that the mainly Central American migrants who pass through Mexico on their way to the United States suffer abuses, but attributed the problem to criminal gangs branching out into kidnapping and extortion of migrants.
