  1. the jobs this idiot's lawsuits create are more lawyers at taxpayer expense to sue businesses out of existence and eliminate more jobs.

" Sunday's Herald, 5/23/10, scored a trifecta. Editor Jim Smith and columnists, Chris Powell and Kathleen Parker all weighrd in on the Blumenthal, Vietnam lie.

In three different ways, all three decried the attempts by AG Richard Blumenthal to pooh pooh his gaffe/lie about whteher he served in Viet Nam with the U. S. Marines. Pure and simple, Blumey tried to pass himself off as having served wih the Marines in Viet Nam. Again, pure and simple, it was a lie. Not one of the writers attempted to portray the situation as an "all right" act by Blumenthal. All three articles were objective and avoided finger pointing. Nonetheless, all three characterized the situation as less than acceptable behavior by Blumenthal. Why is it so difficult for some to say. "I'm sorry?"

In the Sunday Herald, the paper published an extensive, unsigned editorial entitled "Our View: Government, business have very different goals" whereby the writer goes to great lengths to proclaim that many of the business leaders running for office this year are unsuited for public office because they basically don't know how to throw away the public's tax dollars for what anonymous describes as providing services to the people who would be left behind by profitable businesses.

The anonymous editor is certainly demonstrating his or her left wing extremism by failing to recognize that the majority of Americans want exactly this inexperience in their elected leaders. They want people of character, who know how to run a business, know how to make a weekly payroll and who are inexperienced at the very government corruption Mr. Anonymous seems to idolize in his/her radical heart.

The people are pushing back hard against the Democrats and their attempts to force this country into a European socialist nation that our forefathers not only wouldn't recognize, one they would be ashamed of.

Maybe Mr. Anonymous should attend a tea party or two, and he/she may then understand what the majority of Americans are upset about.

Maybe then anonymous will be in a position to write an accurate editorial, one he or she can even be proud to sign his/her name to!

  7. A Headline The Democrats Can Be Proud of:

On Jay Leno's show last night, he showed the headline:

Richard Blumenthal Admits He Lied About Going To Vienam, But Says He Did Rent "PLATOON."

  8. Governor Christie seems to be doing a great job running things like a business. I especially like his power to declare a state of emergency and void the union contracts as if they never existed and then set the state employee's pay scales at whatever he deems appropriate, as if there were not even a union involved.

We need laws like that here!
