The Lamont- Glassman Ticket for Governor Announced @ Trinity On Main, New Britain Ct.
The introduction of the candidates was made by George Springer, Jr. of New Britain stating that he was very proud to support Ned, a professor at Central Connecticut University, calling it a team to win.
Hopeful Ned Lamont cited his central Connecticut blueprint team to getting more jobs in Ct. He mentioned that there are 100,000 employers with less than 100 employees, we need to get them to hire at least one additional employee each.
Mrs. Glassman proudly mentioned her young days of growing up in New Britain mentioning all the schools she attended as a youngster here in the city. She indicated her advantages to get a good education, here in the city, attending the University of Connecticut and graduating with a law degree. She further stated that education for our youth is slipping away these days and we can fix that for Connecticut.
Mrs. Glassman cited that her a Ned can build a winning team together.
In attendance were many of the ultra liberals from New Britain and throughout the state.
Sounds like a real commie convention--all celebrating their efforts to finally finish off this state. It would be a sad day when Connecticut ends up with a left wing extremist in the Governor's office. Imagine there being no limit to the socialist agenda that the extremists in the legislature could ram through?
ReplyDeleteDo you like the "We won, so we can do what we want whether the people like it or not" attitude that is running Washington right now? That is what you will get if you put a radical Democrat in the Governor's seat.
Like it or not, the only sensible thing for Connecticut is to continue to elect a Republican Governor as a check and balance against the Legislature's socialist regime.
The public already rejected Lamont as being too radical for the Senate, so what makes these Democrats think we will now accept him as our Governor?
Promises, promises! We can do this and we can do that. TELL US HOW, by hiring more government workers? We can fix education! WOW! Again, tell us how. We ask each business to hire 100 workers; to do what? Will the bisinesses have to guarantee paid sick leave and other benefits? Ned, how about if you start ther ball rolling! Come on Ned and Mary stop with the bull*&#% !
ReplyDelete"Hopefully..business will hire"? Why? What incentives do businesses now have? Obamacare care, the card check of healthcare; Immigration, the card check for employers not illegals; cap and tax; VAT tax; no energy independence; sick leave mandates; higher government payrolls; more borrowing to balance budgets?
ReplyDeleteCmon already. No business is going to hire unless the state and feds get their houses in order.
Reagan and Kennedy said it best "a rising tide DOES lift all boats".
Glassman is such an opportunist, it's sickening. She'll have nothing to do with NB unless she's running for statewide office, and then she's a hometown girl. Gimme a break!
ReplyDeleteyes! sounds like an incredible team to me.
ReplyDeletecontrary to popular belief of the above responses, I find Lamont's goals and views fairly moderate and applicable to all members of the political spectrum... to that best that that could be. Mary is a great addition to help these goals pull through - jobs and education!
We can't trust Lamont. Just because he talks a good game and is a businessman does not mean he has the values we want in a Governor. HAVE WE FORGOT THAT IT WAS CCAG ILK SHERWOOD AND COMPANY THAT RECRUITED HIM TO HARASS LIEBERMAN!!!
ReplyDeleteHe was introduced in the world of politics through the radical extremist group ccag. We cannot trust him and we must fight with all our might.
Didn't Lamont recently say he was going to fix the state by making the rich and the businesses finally pay what he called "their fair share" of taxes.
ReplyDeleteSo is it these same businesses who's taxes he promises in one speech that he will jack up to punish them, that in another speech he is going to get these same business owners to hire more people out of the goodness of their hearts and for no specific purpose other than a civic duty to create jobs--since making a profit is demonized???
Just want to get his flip flops straight before he flips again and I lose track!
What an absolute disaster this would be for Connecticut. Haven't we had enough of a disaster from the liberals?
ReplyDeleteApparently Lamont is even too liberal and radical for little mac:
ReplyDeleteDemocratic Town Chairman John McNamara reiterated his support for Dan Malloy as a candidate for governor at the Democratic State Convention later this month and in the Aug. 10 primary.
Now let me see if I have this correct: Sherwood and his ultra, left wing buddies at CCAG and elsewhere supported Lamont against Lieberman; now, opportunist DeFronzo and those of his ilk (little mac) support Malloy - rumor has it that DeFronzo wants to be Malloy's running mate as LG or that Malloy has promised him the DOT job; what will Sherwood and Trueworthy do? The other 9 Dems on the Council will just do as their bosses tell them.
ReplyDeleteIt's hair pulling time for NB Democrats. Somebody pass the Pepto Bismol!
Does this mean that Malloy is even more of a radical extremist than Lamont???
