  1. I'm sure little mac is proud of his fellow radicals. This is the best you could get to represent New Britain?

  2. I'm not going to pretend I am an expert on this particular issue, however, I find it troubling that whenever our Democratic legislators find themselves in a dispute between taxpayers and a union or an employer and a union, they always automatically side with the union, without fail.

In fact, they are so beholden to the union that they are willing to get arrested for them. When is the last time a member of our state delegation showed that much loyalty and resolve for you?

As I've said before, it's like a money laundering operation. They vote for measures that benefit the unions and the unions benefit them. The taxpayer is just a patsy in the scheme.

  5. This reminds me of the extremists from the council forming their protests in front of Wal-Mart until they ran the company right out of town. Would you keep your business in a town where the people elected to represent you as the taxpayer are involved in organizing groups of radicals to protest outside your business?

  6. One more question, if Tercyak is elected to represent New Britain, why is he so involved in a radical union demonstration at a nursing home in Hartford. What does that have to do with his district?

  7. Isn't it against the "rules" for state legislators to belong to a union? Am I correct in assuming that Peter Tercyak, a registered nurse, belongs to 1099 a health related union? This is a plus for the Republican candidate to win his district (26) in November.

Tercyak has been an operative and a member of that Union (Not sure if 1099 is correct, might be 1199) longer than he has been a state rep. He hounded his father - Tony - with union stuff at the Capitol when he was our rep. The Union is affiliated with SEIU and the Working Families Party and the now supposedly defunct ACORN.
This was just a preelection stunt by Tercyak to "show how much he cares for the union workers", his main financial support group. Do you think he cares about New Britain?

  10. Dwight: Two days ago the Democratic Chairman and his crew were all laughing and making adverse remarks on this blog, as to your choices of the RTC candidates for the upcoming state elections..

As the old saying goes "he who laughs last laughs best" after Tercyak's episode in Hartford he has the New Britain Voters wondering why is he picketing in Hartford for the Union because that isn't where the voters elected him to be representing them as his constituents.

They were laughing of your choice of James Griffin in his opposing Rep. Tercyak in the upcoming elections. "NOW ARE THEY STILL LAUGHING"? After watching their candidate do the perp walk with his hands cuffed behind his back are they laughing; I ask?

I cannot help remembering them picketing of the Wal*Mart store in the city on two occasions forcing this business establishment to terminate their existence within our city. This radical group which Is affiliated with the Working Families Party, SEIU, and now the supposedly defunct ACORN.

This is clearly a pre-election stunt by Rep. Tercyak in order to show how much he cares for the unions who are his main financial support.
It is quite clear by his actions that New Britain’s problems are not his concern.

I cannot wait for the debates with Mr. Griffin providing that the representative cares enough to show up.

  11. Let's see; Tercyak = unions, SEIU, Local 1199, WFP, ACORN. When it comes to New Britain, TERCYAK = NOTHING, ZERO, NADA. That means, nothing for New Britain everything for the Unions. You people in New Britain, keep voting for him and then , go to a Republican when you have a problem.

And, Tom Swan; That equals PHIL SHERWOOD also of CCAG. Where was Art Perry - might as well get him in on the act.

  12. BTW: What is Tercyak's address? Does anyone know? Does he even live in New Britain, the people he is supposed to be supporting?

His beloved father Tony must be rolling over in his grave.

  13. Great picture for the democrats to admire.

  14. I'll bet this JA still wins the election. This city is totally bizarre.... would you not agree?
This Tercyak clown can be paraded around in handcuffs and he will win. I would bet my last dollar.
Look at the council seats in the city especially Adam and his stupid remarks, his own party shakes their heads and he wins, over and over again. Blows your mind.

Isn't 1099 part of the SEIU, the union behind all the radical protests and all the violence against Americans who oppose the socialism proposed by these union thugs?

Remember the videos of the thugs wearing SEIU purple t-shirts beating that gentleman at the tea party?

Did Adam ever get his Chinese hot dogs?

  17. Shouldn't these union radicals just be thankful they still have a job when so many others (15 million reported today) are unemployed thanks to their messiah and his attempts to totally destroy the private sector in this country?

Instead of moaning and complaining--thank God you even have a job. There are many people who would be glad to take your jobs and wouldn't be constantly demanding more, more more!

  18. Didn't the high and mighty Sherwood make some sort of a claim where he supposedly was able to control whether the police made an arrest or not in a certain case?

Why didn't his highness exercise these powers to prevent his boss from being arrested?

  19. His opponent should send out his booking photo as a campaign mailer!

Don't forget Sherwood and his asinine "WHERE'S THE BEEF" attack against a gentleman who was planning to invest $5 million into this city.

  21. A fine example of the local Democratic Party under little mac's leadership. I'm sure he must be very proud!

  22. ALL READERS SHOULD TAKE NOTE:

It has been several days now since a state representative from New Britain was arrested. The circumstances shouldn't matter. The important fact is that an elected official from New Britain stands charged with a criminal offense.

THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE WORD THAT I COULD FIND MENTIONING THIS ARREST IN THE NEW BRITAIN HERALD. We only know about the arrest because the Hartford Courant was responsible enough to report it along with the fact that the representative was arrested in a union protest along with the leader of CGAG, an apparent radical organization that seems to do little more than form protests of all kinds against "the establishment.".

The fact that the Herald has chosen not to report this arrest speaks volumes about their left wing extremism. Does anyone have any doubt that if this same arrest were of a Republican member of the council, that it wouldn't have received front page headline coverage in the Herald.

As long as the editors of the Herald continue to report their one sided liberal version of the news, they can certainly expect to continue to lose more and more readers and of course as a consequence, more and more revenue.

Could it be he didn't help his boss because he wants to be the head agitator at CCAG?????

  24. The Stoessel show just showed the same union that Tercyak was protesting for, and said that they are bankrupting America.

  25. Sherwood is a legend in his own mind, and probably the minds of some of his fellow socialists on the council, but that is about it.

  26. For these radicals in the Democratic Party, isn't the perp walk considered a badge of honor?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Shouldn't this result in his removal from office? Wasn't that the result last year when a Republican representative was arrested, or do the laws only apply to Republicans and Democrats are free to break the law all they please?

  28. Something doesn't quite smell right here.

  29. Could it be that the Herald is being silent about this story because they are privy to some strings being pulled to "take care of this" for such a high ranking official?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Heh! I got an idea. Let's form a group amd march in protest to The Herald.

Nah! They wouldn't print that either.

We could, however, tell everyone we know that Tercyak was arrested and that The Herald would not print the story!

YOU WOULD HAVE TO INVITE THE COURANT TO THE PROTEST IN FRONT OF THE HERALD (AT THE BUILDING WHERE THEY OPERATE OUT OF A RENTED ROOM BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER COULD AFFORD THEIR OWN BUILDING ON HERALD SQUARE) BECAUSE THE COURANT APPARENTLY STILL CARES ABOUT JOURNALISM!

    ReplyDelete
  32. and if the Hartford Courant prints it, then someone might actually read it because they still have readers.

  33. I would be willing to bet that he is so important, he doesn't even have to show up in court tomorrow. If it were me or you, we would have to be there, or go to jail!

  34. You mean he didn't get to enjoy the strip search either?

  35. READ ALL ABOUT IT IN THE JUNE 11 EDITION OF THE NEW BRITAIN CITY JOURNAL IN THEIR JUNE 11 EDITION WHEREBY REP. PETER TERCYAK ISSUES HIS LETTER TO THE EDITOR GIVING THE RESAON BEHIND HIS ARREST.

THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD READ!

  36. At least one paper in town is willing to print bad things about Democrats. Maybe the publisher of the herald will realize what he/she did wrong when the city journal replaces them as the paper of record for NB?
