It has been several days now since a state representative from New Britain was arrested. The circumstances shouldn't matter. The important fact is that an elected official from New Britain stands charged with a criminal offense.
THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE WORD THAT I COULD FIND MENTIONING THIS ARREST IN THE NEW BRITAIN HERALD. We only know about the arrest because the Hartford Courant was responsible enough to report it along with the fact that the representative was arrested in a union protest along with the leader of CGAG, an apparent radical organization that seems to do little more than form protests of all kinds against "the establishment.".
The fact that the Herald has chosen not to report this arrest speaks volumes about their left wing extremism. Does anyone have any doubt that if this same arrest were of a Republican member of the council, that it wouldn't have received front page headline coverage in the Herald.
As long as the editors of the Herald continue to report their one sided liberal version of the news, they can certainly expect to continue to lose more and more readers and of course as a consequence, more and more revenue.
