Frank, I notice on here that the only stories that lack any comments are usually the ones in the NB Herald. Even on here nobody wants to read what the Herald has to say!
Thank God neither of these officers were seriously injured in this collision!
Someone should invent a device that would visually alert the officer driving of any other police vehicles when they are approaching. These devices could be activated whenever the police vehicle lights and sirens are on. If no other police vehicles are near, a green light could be lit on the dash. If a police vehicle is approaching within a mile, a the light could change to a yellow light and if the approaching police vehicle is within ¼ mile the light could change to red and flash red when within an 1/8 of a mile.
Perhaps someone has invented something like this already…it shouldn’t be to difficult to do.
I believe the investment to keep some of our bravest men safe is well worth it!
