Time For Larson To Learn HowTo Listen?

FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:

Yesterday in the Journal Inquirer, Congressman John Larson was quoted as calling the new Congressional Republican Majority's plan to repeal Obamacare, cut spending, reduce taxes, and cut the size of government, as "draconian measures." As if that were not enough, Larson went on to say that he (Larson) would not tolerate such "draconian measures," but just who does Mr. Larson really think he is?

Every measure proposed by the Republican Majority has the overwhelming support of the American people. For example, polls show that roughly 70 to 75% of Americans want Obamacare repealed, and as people learn the "draconian measures" in the Obamacare 2300 page bill, it grows less popular with the American people each and every day.

Again I wonder who Mr. Larson really thinks he is? Now that he is a member of the minority party and his vote really doesn't matter anymore, his first order of business will be to start packing up his office so he can vacate his lavish majority office for the Republican that will now be replacing him. Perhaps after he finishes relocating to his nondescript minority office somewhere in the basement, he would do America a great service to shut up and listen. Perhaps he should spend the next session watching the Republicans, and then maybe Mr. Larson will learn how to listen to "We the people" instead of forcing his own personal ideology down all of our throats--the very job he was elected to do in the first place.

Until then, maybe he should save the people some hard earned tax dollars by sharing an office in the basement with Chris Murphy.

A broom closet would suffice.

  1. I wonder how Larson will enjoy being an insignificant nothing member of the minority party who can't order pencils for his office without permission of a Republican??

  2. Larson is just a blow hard who loves to shoot his mouth off--usually about subjects he knows nothing about, like his claim that he has an agreement of no layoffs from Pratt & Whitney and that they promised him they will not move out of East Hartford or Cheshire.

They just announced 3100 layoffs, and say they are studying whether if it makes fiscal sense to keep either locations open.

  3. Maybe we should cut the benefits that congress member get for just a couple of years of service.
    Must be nice.

  4. Connecticut may be stupid enough to elect liberal extremists, but thank God that the rest of the nation has invalidated their votes and their radical agendas by moving them from the majority to the minority party where they belong.

  5. The majority of America has made sure that Larson and Murphy are now stopped from pushing their radicalism onto the entire nation. America has spoken and Democrats are nothing now in the House, at least for the next 2 years.

We can't trust them to drive the car, because they drove it off a cliff, so now the Dems have to sit in the back seat and watch the Republicans work to return the country from the destruction they tried to reign on this great nation.

Get ready for the mass exodus of businesses from the "communist state."

The only jobs that will be created are the huge numbers of new employees that moving companies will have to hire to accommodate the moves to southern state where there are no business taxes and no unions.

Tuesday, "We the People" won! The socialist agenda of the Obozo regime is neutered.

  9. Larson has been "neutered" by the new Republican majority. He will no longer be able to pass any bills without express permission of the Republicans!
