  2. The only thing this guy knows how to do is raise taxes and dole the money out in socialist programs. Why do you think as mayor he presided over the largest tax increases in Stamford history?

  4. Governor elect Malloy’s lot is not an easy one. He has inherited a budget with a $3-billion-plus hole in it and he’s armed with little more than a roll of duct tape. The obvious options are to cut spending or raise revenues and the betting is majority of liberal Democrats will explore the latter first - by raising taxes and sources of revenues.
