  2. Everyone in the 1st District should call John Larson's new office in the sub-basement to ask him to sign onto this excellent bill! If it takes a long time for someone to answer the phone, please be patient, because as a member of the MINORITY PARTY, Mr. Larson is only allowed a fraction of the staff he used to have.

  3. Everyone should call Chris Murphy's office at 223-8412 and tell him you want him to sign onto to the bill as a co-sponsor!

Of course you can expect a bunch of scripted double talk about how inserting the government between you and your doctor is such a wonderful thing, but you can ask him if this bill is so wonderful, then why since its passage have over 10 million more Americans lost their health care coverage, and why as a direct result to his socialist bill is the cost of health care plans skyrocketing across America?

  4. John Boehner takes the Speaker's gavel from Nancy Pelosi today, and the transfer represents much more than a change in partisan control. It marks perhaps the sharpest ideological shift in the House in 80 years, and it could set the stage for a meaningful two-year debate over the role of government and the real sources of economic prosperity.
