In life, JFK would have inevitably become an embarrassment, as the combined weight of his inexperience and the behind the scene scandals would have imploded his image and his leadership. And even if that had not happened, the Vietnam War would have done the job.
Sounds like we are reading about the implosion of the failed Obama Presidency, one that will no doubt go down in the history books as the worst Presidency ever!

In 1972, actress Veronica Hamel and her then husband became the new owners of Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood home. When they hired a contractor to replace the roof and remodel the house the contractor discovered a sophisticated eavesdropping and telephone tapping system that covered every room in the house. The components were not commercially available in 1962, but were in the words of a retired Justice Department official, "standard FBI issue." The new owners spent $100,000 to remove the bugging devices from the house.
Marylin Monroe was under lockstep surveillance. She hung around a diverse crowd that included un-Americans like Arthur Miller, and she could not even fart without blowing air into J. Edgar Hoover's ear. Hoover used the Mafia to spy on Communists and Marylin Monroe's entire house was bugged -audio and video. Incidentally, the guy who bugged her house died in prison, to keep the rumor that her murder was actually videotaped, out of the realm of absolute proof. In retrospect however, given all we know about her obvious, provable murder [even the first cop on the scene claims that she was murdered, this is no fuzzy verdict] every act of cover up is a further piece of evidence. In the final analysis, J. Edgar Hoover and his Mafia cohorts are directly responsible for the murder of Marylin Monroe. Lockstep surveillance precludes every other possibility. [Incidentally, the same can be said about the murder of Martin Luther King. Like Harold Weisberg, the unrivaled assassinations expert has indicated, the evidence against James Earl Ray had already been amassed and bundled up, not after, but before King was shot, and it does not take a genius to arrive at the conclusion that James Earl Ray was framed. In the final analysis, if Hoover's FBI wanted to impose lockstep surveillance, Hoover's FBI had the duty and the obligation to provide lockstep security.]
Ted Kennedy earned C grades at the private Milton Academy, but was admitted to Harvard as a "legacy" -- his father and older brothers had attended there, so the younger and dimmer Kennedy's admission was virtually assured. While attending, he was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him. While expelled Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England, pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea, where a war was raging. Kennedy was assigned to Paris, never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged.
While attending law school at the University of Virginia he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver's license was never revoked. He passed the bar exam in 1959, and two years later was appointed an Assistant to the District Attorney in Massachusetts' Suffolk County.
Patrick Kennedy has acknowledged being treated for cocaine use during his teenage years, and admitted that he abused drugs and alcohol while he was a student at Providence College.[9] He sought treatment for an OxyContin addiction in 2006.[10]
During Easter weekend in 1991, Kennedy and his father were in Palm Beach, Florida, along with Patrick's cousin, William Kennedy Smith. At Au Bar, the 23-year-old Patrick met a 27-year-old Testas Restaurant waitress, Michelle Cassone, and Smith met another woman, Patricia Bowman. Both women returned with the Kennedys to the family's beachfront retreat, where a series of events took place that resulted in Smith being charged with raping Bowman. The prosecution alleged that the three Kennedys collaborated to cover up this alleged crime. In a widely covered trial, Smith was acquitted.[11]
In 2000, Kennedy was accused of pushing a female security guard at Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California. City prosecutors ultimately decided not to bring criminal charges against him and he paid an undisclosed civil settlement to the alleged victim almost two years later.[12][verification needed]
Also in 2000, Atlantic Navigation Company of Mystic, Connecticut, claimed that a boat they rented to Kennedy was found abandoned off Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, with US$28,000 worth of damage.[13][verification needed]
That same year, the U.S. Coast Guard was dispatched to Kennedy's yacht after he and his date became embroiled in an argument off the coast of Martha's Vineyard.[14][dead link]
In 2003, Kennedy was criticized for saying "I have never worked a fucking day in my life", which his staff later claimed was a satirical reference to repeated charges of never having worked.[15]
In 2007, the Kennedy camp stated that they would retain $6,600 in donations from convicted Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu. Kennedy is one of the few Democrats not to return or donate these contributions. This is a controversial action because of the allegation that Hsu had been using his personal funds to unfairly influence Washington.[16]
In February 2007, Kennedy was asked to refrain from receiving Holy Communion by his Bishop, Thomas Tobin. Kennedy said the bishop had explained the penalty by telling him “that I am not a good practicing Catholic because of the positions that I’ve taken as a public official,” particularly on abortion.[17]

On May 4, 2006, Kennedy crashed his 1997 Ford Mustang convertible into a barricade on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., at 2:45 a.m. A Capitol Police official said the congressman had appeared intoxicated when he crashed his car, but Kennedy claimed that he was merely disoriented from prescription medications Ambien and Phenergan.[dead link][18] Anonymous sources are alleged to have seen Kennedy drinking at the nearby Hawk & Dove bar prior to the accident.[19][20] Kennedy also stated to officers that he was "late for a vote". However, the last vote of the night had occurred almost six hours earlier. The standard field sobriety test was not administered, and Kennedy was driven home by an officer.
On May 5, 2006, Kennedy admitted that he had an addiction to prescription medication and announced he would be re-admitting himself to a drug-rehabilitation facility at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where he has sought treatment for prior addictions.[21] He has stated that he has no recollection of the car crash. On May 8, 2006, Kennedy got a show of support when he was endorsed by the Rhode Island Democratic Party.[22] On June 5, 2006, Kennedy was released from drug rehabilitation.[23]

Joe Kennedy, son of Robert Kennedy and former Congressman, secretly had his 12-year marriage to Sheila Rauch annulled by the Vatican. Rauch only found out about the annulment years later, after Kennedy remarried. She wrote a very angry book about the experience, Shattered Faith, since the Church's decreeing that the marriage never existed left her twin sons in everlasting limbo. Rauch pointed out that only powerful people like the Kennedy's could unilaterally cancel 12 years of marriage. (This raises the question of whether the Church can gain entry to Heaven for powerful people who have sinned.)
One of the storied political couplings of the twentieth century was between Andrew Cuomo, son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo, and Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert Kennedy. The younger Cuomo was forced to withdraw his own bid for the governorship in 2002 when it was revealed that his wife, to whom he had been married 13 years and with whom he had three daughters, had been having a long-term affair with a married man. Kerry Kennedy's philandering shows that Kennedy disregard for marital niceties extends to the distaff side of the family as well.
An extremely unappetizing Kennedy scandal involved Joe's brother and campaign manager, Michael. Like his brother and sister, Michael was stably married with children when it was revealed he had been having an affair with a family babysitter, beginning when the girl was 14! This, of course, is a crime that would get a non-Kennedy registered as a sexual predator. For some reason (perhaps bribery and threats to her and her family), the girl refused to press charges, and Kennedy entered treatment for sex and alcohol addiction. Michael Kennedy had been keeping an extremely low profile when he died in an accident on a family skiing trip.
All of these scandals concerned third-generation Kennedy's. But the stories of sexual assaults, infidelity, and religious hypocrisy began with the family's patriarch, Joe Kennedy. In Swanson on Swanson, silent screen star Gloria Swanson revealed having an affair with Kennedy when, she claimed, he forced himself on her during his business trips to Hollywood when he left his saintly wife, Rose, at home in Massachusetts. (Swanson was most pissed off that, despite his legendary financial acumen, Joe lost a ton of her dough.) Other Kennedy family historians report that the elder Kennedy made advances on his sons' girlfriends!
Back to the younger Kennedy's, in 1991 Kennedy nephew William Smith was charged with rape while staying with uncle Teddy in the family's seaside estate in Palm Beach, FL. The woman claimed she met Smith at a night club at which he was accompanied by Ted Kennedy and his son, Patrick. Later, while ostensibly showing her around the estate, Smith began pursuing and pawing her as she tried to escape. Other women were found who described having similar experiences with the Kennedy nephew, but Smith was acquitted.
Both President Jack Kennedy - whose sexual escapades were legendary - and younger brother Bobby had closely contiguous sexual liaisons with Marilyn Monroe. Numerous conspiracy theories have been developed around the Kennedys' involvement in Monroe's death, which occurred in the aftermath of these affairs. At a minimum, the relationships were extremely damaging to Monroe's fragile mental health.
What could most interfere with Ted Kennedy's passage to Heaven (as it frustrated his aspirations to be president) was his involvement in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. Following a party with six young female campaign workers on the island of Chappaquiddick, Kennedy was giving Kopechne a ride back to her hotel when he drove off a bridge. Kopechne drowned in the car, and Kennedy left the scene to consult with Kennedy family advisers. In fact, he never reported the incident, which was discovered independently the next morning! Kennedy was charged only with leaving the scene of an accident.
Perhaps the greatest "scandal" - more of a tragedy - was the case of Ted's wife at the time of Chappaquiddick, Joan Bennett Kennedy, who became a ravaged alcoholic (in 2005, when she was 68, her children took legal guardianship of her affairs after several late-life drunken episodes). The "Kennedy wife thing" of tolerating non-stop cheating while establishing her own life didn't work well for her (unlike Jackie). According to the Boston Globe: "During the [wedding] festivities, Jack [who was 15 years his brother's senior], Ted's godfather and best man, wore a microphone because the Bennetts had hired a film crew as a wedding gift. Later, watching the footage, Joan would hear Jack whisper to his brother that marriage didn't mean you had to be faithful." Question for Kennedy buffs - did Ted contribute to Joan's lifelong alcoholism?
JOHN F. KENNEDY: Who hasn't heard the tabloid rumors about JFK? Always a ladies' man, Kennedy had a boatload of girlfriends before marrying Jacqueline Bouvier in 1953. After their marriage he reportedly continued to see other women, supposedly even sneaking them into the White House. (Mafia moll Judith Exner and actress Marilyn Monroe are two of the wilder alleged partners.) At first a great secret, such rumors have since gotten wide public airing, and even Kennedy's closest aides seem to have stopped denying many of the tales.
C. David Heymann is alleging - for the third time - that Jacqueline and Bobby Kennedy had an affair, and once again, other Kennedy biographers are slamming the author's claim.
In his new book, "Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story" (available on July 14 from Simon & Schuster's Atria Books), Heymann interviews several on-the-record witnesses who say that the in-laws had a sexual relationship after JFK's assassination in 1963.
One neighbor tells Heymann that Bobby and Jackie got frisky out in the open over Christmas vacation in Palm Beach in 1964, while family friend Chuck Spalding says that there was such an obvious attraction between the two, "you would have had to be dumb, deaf and blind not to see it."
In addition, Heymann writes that Bobby (l.) and Jackie (r.) vacationed together in Antigua and hugged and kissed in Glen Cove, N.Y., without the presence of Bobby's wife, Ethel. One "eyewitness" also says that during a cruise on the Sequoia (the presidential yacht), the pair went below deck for 10 minutes and returned looking "happy."
Shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis — RFK's rival for Jackie's attention — once threatened to "bring down" Bobby by going public with details of the affair. "I could bury that sucker," Onassis said, "although I'd lose Jackie in the process."
Michael C. Skakel (born September 19, 1960) was convicted in 2002 of the 1975 murder of Martha Moxley, his 15-year-old neighbor in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was sentenced to 20 years to life and remains incarcerated. Skakel is the nephew of Ethel Skakel Kennedy, the widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
(His mother is the daughter (and the last surviving child) of Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.)
was tried and acquitted on a charge of rape, represented by Miami-based criminal defense attorney Roy Black in a trial that attracted extensive media coverage.[5]
The incident began on the evening of Good Friday, March 29, 1991, when Smith, then 30-years-old, was in a bar (named Au Bar) in Palm Beach, Florida, with his uncle, Senator Ted Kennedy, and his cousin Patrick Kennedy. Smith met a 29-year-old woman, Patricia Bowman,[6] and another young woman at the bar. The four then went to a nearby house owned by the Kennedy family. Smith and Bowman walked along the beach. She alleged that Smith raped her; Smith testified that the sex was consensual. Although three women were willing to testify that Smith had sexually assaulted them in incidents in the 1980s not reported to the police, their testimony was excluded.[7] Smith was acquitted of all charges.
JFK's FBI Director (under direct supervision of his brother Attorney General RFK) J. Edgar Hoover was renowned for his vendettas, particularly against Martin Luther King, Jr. Naming him "the most dangerous Negro in the future of this nation," Hoover used COINTELPRO to initiate around the clock surveillance on King, hoping to find evidence of communism or sexual deviance. Using an illegal wiretap, Hoover was convinced he had proof of King's infidelitous behavior, and attempted to push reporters into publicizing the recording. The media refused. Instead, Hoover sent the tape directly to King's office, suggesting he commit suicide or face exposure.
Democrats united strongly behind Kennedy as their 1960 Presidential candidate as a reward for his vote against the 1957 Civil Rights Act, which blocked Blacks from gaining equal rights--rights that Democrats were strongly united against giving blacks as the party of oppressors:
Kennedy put political realism before any form of beliefs when he voted against Eisenhower’s 1957 Civil Rights Act. The Democrats were almost united to a politician in their opposition to the bill/act. Kennedy had aspirations to be the Democrats next presidential candidate in the 1960 election. If he was seen to be taking the party line and demonstrating strong leadership with regards to opposing the bill, this would do his chances no harm whatsoever. This proved to be the case and Kennedy lead the Democrats to victory over Richard Nixon in 1960. (Nixon, like most Republicans, favored granting blacks their equal rights--something that went against the Democratic Party platform--especially since most slave owners had been Democrats!
What is the point of bringing up all these scandalous "incidents" now? The U.S. was in deep mourning for months, possibly years after JFK's murder. Would we deeply mourn the assassinations of any president after JFK? With all due respect, it's doubtful Obama would generate the same reactions, although we would mourn the incident to a much lesser degree. JFK did inspire young people to become involved in the political process...many of whom are still politically active. Obama is not one to inspire the average citizen to political activity...
What is the point of bringing up all these scandalous "incidents" now? . . . . . . . . . . . .
The main reason is that you socialists are holding a fundraiser here in New Britain today, and the scandals in the Democratic Party have been ongoing for years.
In addition to pointing out that the Democrats have a long history of fighting to prevent blacks from being equal to whites, while Republicans delivered equal rights to blacks against strong Democratic opposition, lets also talk about:
The scandal surrounding Tercyak and his recent arrest
An Alderman (Gerrantana) living in Berlin while serving on the New Britain council
The same Alderman (gerrantana) while working at the state capitol, abusing a state computer to attack the Mayor which was uncovered by the New Britain Herald Reporter (James Craven)
All the blatant ethics violations involving Cantazaro, resulting in a unanimous finding by the Ethics Commission against him, which the commission's were then ignored by the Democratic majority of the council
How about Rick Lopes registering his cars out of town while an Alderman--apparently avoiding the enormous New Britain taxes he helped to pass
and don;t forget Mr. Lopes again caught rifling threw someone else's desk while serving as an aide to Senator Defronzo?
Don't forget the local Democrats forming radical protests outside the Walmart store--ultimately driving them and their 170 jobs to move out of New Brtain
And don't forget the rising star of your party, Mr. Sherwood insulting an investor planning to spend $5 million redeveloping Pinnacle Heights--backing out of the deal after the childish insult of "Where's the beef" was thrown at him by the Majority Leader of your party--acting like a 2 year old.
How about Geragosian as a legislative leader, supported giving more funding to Waterbury, New London, Bridgeport, New Haven and others, and when questioned on this at a CPOA meeting, his reply was that they needed the money more than New Britain. Geragosian supported giving others more money than the city he was elected to represent, and now his payoff is a high paying appointment in the radical Dan Malloy administration,
The Marilyn Monroe scandal seems minuscule compared to the constant scandals involving Democrats in New Britain.
In life, JFK would have inevitably become an embarrassment, as the combined weight of his inexperience and the behind the scene scandals would have imploded his image and his leadership. And even if that had not happened, the Vietnam War would have done the job.

On May 8, 2006, Kennedy got a show of support when he was endorsed by the Rhode Island Democratic Party.[22] On June 5, 2006, Kennedy was released from drug rehabilitation.[23]
On May 4, 2006, Patrick Kennedy crashed his 1997 Ford Mustang convertible into a barricade on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., at 2:45 a.m.

ReplyDeleteOne of the storied political couplings of the twentieth century was between Andrew Cuomo, son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo, and Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert Kennedy.
ReplyDeleteAn extremely unappetizing Kennedy scandal involved Joe's brother and campaign manager, Michael.
ReplyDeleteAll of these scandals concerned third-generation Kennedy's.
ReplyDeleteBack to the younger Kennedy's, in 1991 Kennedy nephew William Smith was charged with rape while staying with uncle Teddy in the family's seaside estate in Palm Beach, FL.
ReplyDeleteBoth President Jack Kennedy - whose sexual escapades were legendary - and younger brother Bobby had closely contiguous sexual liaisons with Marilyn Monroe. Numerous conspiracy theories have been developed around the Kennedys' involvement in Monroe's death, which occurred in the aftermath of these affairs. At a minimum, the relationships were extremely damaging to Monroe's fragile mental health.
ReplyDeleteWhat could most interfere with Ted Kennedy's passage to Heaven (as it frustrated his aspirations to be president) was his involvement in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the greatest "scandal" - more of a tragedy - was the case of Ted's wife at the time of Chappaquiddick, Joan Bennett Kennedy, who became a ravaged alcoholic (in 2005, when she was 68, her children took legal guardianship of her affairs after several late-life drunken episodes).
ReplyDeleteJOHN F.
ReplyDeleteC. David Heymann is alleging - for the third time - that Jacqueline and Bobby Kennedy had an affair, and once again, other Kennedy biographers are slamming the author's claim.
ReplyDeleteIn his new book, "Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story" (available on July 14 from Simon & Schuster's Atria Books), Heymann interviews several on-the-record witnesses who say that the in-laws had a sexual relationship after JFK's assassination in 1963.
ReplyDeleteMichael C. Kennedy.
ReplyDeleteIn 1991, William Kennedy Smith
ReplyDelete(His mother is the daughter (and the last surviving child) of Joseph P.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats united strongly behind Kennedy as their 1960 Presidential candidate as a reward for his vote against the 1957 Civil Rights Act, which blocked Blacks from gaining equal rights--rights that Democrats were strongly united against giving blacks as the party of oppressors:
ReplyDeleteKennedy put political realism before any form of beliefs when he voted against Eisenhower’s 1957 Civil Rights Act.
ReplyDeleteJFK did inspire young people to become involved in the political process...many of whom are still politically active. Obama is not one to inspire the average citizen to political activity...
After reading all this poop on the Kennedys, I can see why Little Mack expressed such admiration for Ted Kennedy.
ReplyDeleteBirds of a feather?

ReplyDeleteWhat is the point of bringing up all these scandalous "incidents" now?
. . . . . . . . . . .
Want more to talk about?
I really enjoyed reading the stories on here about Bobby Kennedy "doing" Jackie. That really says it all about this family!
ReplyDeletetypical Democraps!
ReplyDeleteI never before knew that JFK was such a racist!
ReplyDeleteWould you buy a used car from any of these extremists?
ReplyDeleteyou mean like the car pulled from the Chappequiddick Bay containing the dead bodies of Mary Jane Kopechne and her unborn baby?
