What are they celebrating, the largest Republican majority in Congress since 1920 due to the public rejecting their efforts to convert this country to a European socialist nation with rioting in the streets?
The point is that in the midst of the state's monumental financial crisis, Democrats are selling access to the new Administration to the very special interests who will be impacted by the decisions made by the new Administration.
These are the same Democrats who championed publicly-financed political campaigns, Tim O'Brien and Don DeFronzo-- for the express purpose of removing special interest money from politics.
One might call this hypocrisy. Of just business as usual.
I understand the reason for the celebration is that leadership of the party is celebrating that they finally are rid of Sherwood and his childish antics.
I thought Democrats were the party of the people? $35 a head? I can't even afford that as a conservative "wealthy" Republican!
