TOPIC: Response to Gov. Dan Malloy's FY 2012-2013 budget address and
proposed tax increase
Background:
Stewart, mayor of New Britain, is a candidate in the 6th Senatorial
District Special Election scheduled for Feb. 22. Other Connecticut
mayors expected to attend include Mark Boughton of Danbury, a former
lieutenant governor candidate; Ryan Bingham of Torrington, Jeff
Wright of Newington, a former candidate for state treasurer; and Jason
McCoy of Vernon as well as other Republican mayor's from all across
the state.
