Jeb Bush in 2016? The National Review thinks so, and has put the Republicans’ favorite non-candidate on its Feb. 21 cover, Politico reports.
Jeb Bush
The mag hails the former Florida governor for building an image of himself as the “education governor” and of “quietly building a legacy as something other than the Bush who didn’t reach the Oval Office.”
“We’ve been
picking up a lot of interest about Jeb in ’12 among conservatives," said National Review editor Rich Lowry in an email to Politico. "We’ve put him on the cover in light of that, and of his continuing importance in the broader policy debate.”
Bush dismisses a 2012 run, but what about 2016?

Bush would be just the solution we need to put the country back on the right track.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that Jeb did not run instead of George W. The reason that we got stuck with Obama was because so very many people did not appreciate W.
ReplyDeleteJeb would have and still might be a great president. He has no baggage, is very intelligent, articulate,a proven leader of a great state and if that is not enough, he is married to an Hispanic woman. Bingo!
No more Kennedys, Bushes, or Clintons. The monarchy is in ENGLAND not here.
ReplyDeleteJeb was the most popular Governor ever to be elected in Florida. If it were not for term limits, he would still be governor today.
