  1. According to this story, Jim Calhoun's state salary is:
    $2,361,939.83

That means his bi-weekly pay check is roughly $101,228.46

It also means that based on his years of service (since 1986) he is currently eligible for a lifetime annual pension of approximately $1,180,969.91 paid out of the state employees retirement fund.

That's not a bad union job if you can get it, is it?

Did I mention the free health care plan?

  2. The CSU Chancellor which most people agree serves very little if any purpose was paid $417,000 last year!

What a total waste of taxpayer dollars!

  3. With the job this governor is doing, don't most state employees deserve to make more?
