  3. In the public portion part of the Common Council Meeting on Wednesday, 04/27/11 NB Finance Director Robert Curry lashed back at Alderman Carlo Carlozzi, claiming the aldermen went too far in criticizing him and attacking him with Carlozzi's bully verballist voice taunts.

I was publicly attacked. This was a planned assault. This is not much different than a schoolyard bully, Director Robert Curry said. I feel the behavior toward me was harassment and intimidation. It’s about time everyone begins to act like professionals. Alderman Carlozzi did not respond publicly to Director Curry’s comments and was not available for any comments.

  4. Good for Mr. Curry. This group of cowardly Council Democrats used their super majority of votes to "bully" all of city hall, and in doing so, they bully the citizens of NB. There is a section of the NB City Charter regading penalties for "hindering the Mayor." Since Mr. Curry is under the direct supervision of the Mayor, by extension, the Council Dems hinder the Mayor when they bully Department Heads and Directors all the time.

At a recent Council meeting, we heard Corporation Counsel Bizzarro say to Trueworthy, - after Trueworthy asked for an opinion - " you don't listen to my opinions, anyway." Yes, it happens all the time, this time, Mr. Curry was the recipient of the Council vitriol du jour.

    Carlozzi shouild be disciplined.

  6. We are ashamed of the grand-standing behavior of some of the Democratic members of the Council. One would think we have more pressing problems to address than this. Since there was never any proof offered of malfeasance on the part of the two targeted Republican council members the Democrats are left with nothing but egg on their faces. Please do the right thing Alderman Carlozzi resign ....and become business man Mr. Carlozzi !

  8. At the Council meeting, Alderman DeFronzo had a report on the agenda in which he attempted to define who should be in the monthly report from the finance board. Result! The witch hunt against Bernacki and Pabon continiues. Way to go Democrats! You must be so proud of yourselves.
