The Democratic Party has three candidates vying for the mayoral seat: State Representative Timothy O’Brien who lost his last year’s bid, former Mayor Lucian Pawlak, and Aldermen Paul Catanzaro.
The Republican Party has remained very quiet in naming their selection for replacing the Honorable Mayor Timothy Stewart.
The Independent Party has joined the fray with their announced candidate Mr. Mayo who is attempting add an “R” to his name by being called Mr. Mayor after election day.
Lucian is the least offensive of the 3.
ReplyDeletePawlak may be the least offensive of the Democrats but he was also the most destructive Mayor in NB history because of the deals he made with the unions and certain directors.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with the first post.
ReplyDelete...better the devil you know than the 2 devils who promise to answer the door when a radical extremist like Martha Lewis comes knocking at city hall.
ReplyDeleteAnyone is better than Tim O'Brien the socialist and Lucian knows this that is the only reason he is putting his name in, to keep O'Brien out. Thank you Lucian.
ReplyDeleteTruth is that Lucian at age 63 is looking for a job. You did not hear it from me...but he tried to work a deal for a job with one of the candidiates. It fell through and he is running for spite. And all the time...I thought it was his big ego. Lucian, you are a nice, friendly guy. You had your 15 minutes of fame. Leave quietly. Please someone give Lucien a job or we are going to get Catanzaro for mayor. This is a bad time to sell your house and get out of town!
ReplyDeleteIf Tim O'Brien became elected Mayor, would there be a Day Care Center added to City Hall for the children of elected officials? Or, Perhaps a playroom would be added to the Mayor's office for O'Briens lovely baby girl.
ReplyDeleteIf O'Brien becomes elected Mayor, would a child care center be opened in City Hall for the pre-school children of elected officials? If so, would it be paid for out of taxpayers money, or would the parents of the children need to pay for it? Or would O'Brien have a special play area in his office for his baby's use?
