  1. I wonder how Paul likes getting the shaft from the doofus in charge of his local party?

  2. Hey Tim you are going to face the council's highest vote getter in your up-coming Primary.

Don't depend on Bertha Lewis's thugs to scare the voters into not voting for Paul Catanzaro with their door knocking practices of the Acorn and Working Families Parties.

It helped you during the last election but, you still lost, and this time you are going to get creamed.

  3. How do these two, Catanzaro & O'Brien compare as to: education, time living in NB, time serving the City, notable civic or political accomplishments, meaningful legislation passed that helps NB citizens/ taxpayers, etc.?

Advantage? Neither one. Both have nothing to say about how they can and have helped New Britain.

  4. So if Catanzaro WINS in September O'Brien is still on the ballot in November as the WFP candidate.

  5. I am a staunch democrat and I think Cantazaro is going to win in a walk. O'Brien has done NOTHING for this city amd is a slob. His clothes always look as if he slept
    in them.

Do Barbara K., Pawlak and Mayo know this? All three are simply running against O'Brien and his slate on the DTC line or the WFP line. There are more scenarios that could develop.

  7. I wouldn't be surprised if he did sleep in them, he is such a filthy, smelly slob!

Neither seem to have any education, but at least Catanzaro has always lived here in New Britain and has actually held a job--picking up trash in the parks.

What has O'Brien ever done other than run for office, start trouble and push for raising everyone's taxes to fund all those socialist programs he loves so much.

  9. Vote for Paul C. in the democratic primary! Paul really lives and works in New Britain.

  10. The state of CT needs to find ways to stop young people from leaving the state. Let's take a look at WHY young (and old, I might add) people are leaving CT. Can you spell T-A-X-E-S and J-O-B-S .

We have state payroll taxes, sales taxes, and town taxes. Now add the state gasoline tax to that, which has CT paying the second highest gasoline prices in the country. Add all of this together and you will find that it is totally unaffordable to live in CT.

Look out, Hartford and 169 Towns, you are about to witness a mass exodus from the state...and not just from 'young people'. And without all of that tax revenue you are hoping for, you will definitely be up the creek without those taxpayer's!

  11. When I asked if he used a photo copier ( Like the Bridgeport Lib Dems are known to use ) when collecting his signatures, The Herald Moderator removed my comment. Isn't it perfectly reasonable to ask if a Lib Dem is cheating since so many have done so in the past, especially after they successfully stole the governors race. .
