Vacancies and drop-outs: Big changes for GOP candidates:Carillo moves out of state, Jehning drops out and Santos runs into residency trouble

  1. The problem is that the search committee did not do a thourgh job with checking the applicants. Just looking at Santos application with his address on it would have indidcated that he clearly was not in the ward. Dah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Why should Santos have a problem simply for not living in his district.

We have a state representative in a New Britain district who has lived in Hartford for years. Everyone knows about it including several people at the Herald, but no one will do anything about it because he is a Democrat and laws simply do not apply to Democrats.

  3. Are you referring to the same newspaper that didn't find it newsworthy to report that a state representative was arrested?

If that paper leaned anymore left, it would tip over.

  4. Frank,
Do you ever get the feeling that only a half dozen or so people read this blog and post on it?
Just look at the writing...most of it is done by a small group of people.

What is better, reading only what comes from the DTC Chair or the the Herald on line? Perhaps the commenter is troubled because you print everything>

Too bad. Keep up the good work Frank.
