FRANKSMITHSAYSNB EDITORIAL:
A recent political mailing with State Representative Bobby Sanchez saying that Tim O'Brien "works tirelessly for the change to bring the better future New Britain Needs." And With Alderman Shirley Black claiming that " Tim has worked his heart out to lower unfair property taxes, make things better for workers and their families and protect our democracy from big money interest."
Are these two individuals attempting to have the voters forget that O'Brien Picketed the Wal-Mart store in New Britain forcing them to leave the city and he was also quoted in a local paper that he opposes The Costco proposal? Sanchez stated a better future and Black said he makes things better for workers and their families.
Let's examine those two comments through O'Brien's actions and statements New Britain lost a minimum of l50 jobs at Wal-Mart and will lose 350 or so jobs at Costco with his opposing the proposal.
New Britain Needs Jobs Which Representative Tim O'Brien opposed with his picketing and comments in our local newspapers.
O'Brien Lost his last mayoral bid, with the voters being right, because his recent actions does not promote the city's job and interest needs.
Is Black's statement a coded word for "The Working Families Party?"
As all the voters in the city are aware O'Brien will be endorsed by "Big Bertha" as she did in the last election which means if O'Brien loses the primary for Mayor to Alderman Catanzaro his name will still appear in the general elections on the "working families party line."
That is the "socialist" method of running in a primary election.
Big Bertha says she is proud to be a socialist and she is proud to endorse Tim O'Brien, so I guess that automatically makes O'Brien a socialist?
ReplyDeleteDespite O'Brien showing his actions in getting WalMart to close it's New Britain store and opposing Costco's proposal to build a store in New Britain, creating jobs and being a new taxpayer, voters will blindly vote for him. Hopefully, they will finally NOT vote for him! We need a rep who wants businesses to stay in town, and encourage those who want to build here!!
ReplyDeleteI guess Big Bertha doesn't carry the respect of New Britain's voters, because I remember her saying that all O'Brien had to do was get a pair of boots and write "working families party" on the toes and then he couldn't lose.
ReplyDeleteO'Brien lost.
Now he is a loser running for a second shot at an office the New Britain voters have already rejected him for, and Big Bertha's blessing did nothing to help him last time because most people understand what a radical extremist she really is.
So now you have a loser backed by one of the biggest radical socialists in America.

You have to realize that as a Democrat he must stand for destroying any evil business and certainly demonizing anyone who is successful. These fat rich people have a lot of nerve having more wealth than people who have never worked a day in their live. It is not right. Social justice mandates that we seize all their wealth and redistribute it to people who need it more than those who worked hard to earn it.
Sit home. Never get a job. Drink beer bought for you by the government, and Democrats will take everything from those evil rich people and give it to you.
I shudder to think of Tim O'Brien in the Mayor's office.
ReplyDeleteWhat a choice. You have to decide between a radical socialist and the king of ethics violations.
ReplyDeleteAre there any Democrats left that are actually ethical and pro-American?
Will they be installing a mini desk in the mayor's office for the little baby O'Brien is always carting around with him?
ReplyDeleteWhat baffles me is that O'Brien has never once been able to articulate which are the "fair" property taxes and which were "unfair".
ReplyDeleteIf you want to put more money back in the pockets of tax payers than you need to attract in new businesses. You do not accomplish this by telling multi-billion dollar companies to take a hike.
O'Brien has little more than platitudes and empty promises. His tenure at the capitol has yielded nothing positive for New Britain and most every bill he wrote died in committee, not even able to gain the support of his own party.
Mr. Mercier is 100% correct.
ReplyDeleteMuch like Obama, O'Brien is basically an empty suit offering empty platitudes with no specifics like "Hope & Change" but then you wake up to the fact that his idea of change is not something you would have supported, had he offered specifics in the first place, which is why he has no specifics to offer, because the more you know about his ideas for our future, the less you would be inclined to support his radical agenda.
"Fair" in "Democratspeak" is that someone else pays your share.
ReplyDeleteIf you shake his hand, make sure you wear gloves, or you will need to immediately wash all the slime off your hands.
ReplyDeleteIt is a creepy experience you will never forget!
What a choice, one radical or the other.
