It’s interesting that in the year 1900 over 50% of the U.S. population were business owners.
It’s too bad that we’ve lost the ability to create value for people using our unique talents and abilities in the form of owning our own business.
I think we as a culture need to get back to that.
What really worries us is those recent college graduates who now have over $50,000 in debt who have to get jobs for minimum wages in the current economy.
The only comforting fact is that union membership is at a 70 year low in this country as more and more Americans realize that unions are destroying this country. That is why I refuse to spend my money at any business that employs unionized labor. If enough of us practice such discretion, more union jobs will be lost. The news of even one lost union job is reason for celebration!
