Bertha Lewis spends a lot of time demonizing anyone who makes money in this country. Anybody ever look into how much money Bertha Lewis makes with her crusade against the rich?
When hundreds of job-less college students march down the coastal plain towards Washington D.C. and take up the prophetic parody of that old barracks song...
....Bless 'Em All.... Bless 'Em All.... As we're saying bye, bye Wall Street, So put your back pack on my lads, And cheer up and screw 'Em all, As we occupy FED's money machine, In our crusade against the rich of rich!
Unfortunately we have culturally developed in the last two generations in this country the idea that there is no requirement of personal responsibility. The current attitudes are “to get married, just as easily get divorced,” “buy a house you can’t afford, just walk away,” “spend a fortune on a superfluous college education with nothing to show for it, then blame the world.”
Certainly some college students will achieve their self-defined dream but many will find themselves with little more than the memories of four years of college fun, employed in a low-paying service jobs (i.e. fast food) and a $40,000 education bill.
In their frustration some have taken what they learned (or haven’t learned) and “Occupy Wall Street.” Finding it comforting to blame everyone else but themselves for their situation and mountain of collegiate debt.
As much as it is aggravating to admit it, they’re not 100 percent wrong Occupy Wall Street movement.
The Connecticut Working Families, a coalition of community organizations, labor unions and neighborhood activists, protested in town of Orange, CT- at based Pez Candy Inc. and at a Pfizer facility in Groton, CT and the Hartford Insurance Co based in Hartford, CT.
Yes, it's the Obama Administration that has given the Treasury Department, and the Federal Reserve (FED), and the federal regulatory agencies to the Wall Street money investors.
And, It was Connecticut's own supposedly Liberal Democratic Senator, Chris Dodd, who did Wall Street's bidding on the Senate Banking Committee; while receiving millions of dollars in financial industry campaign contributions.
Without Liberal Senator Dodd's bidding, the financial industry's highest objective, the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, which separated investment and commercial banking, never would have happened?
What will these socialists do when they run out of hard working tax paying Republican's money to spend?
Republicans are the ones who are working hard and paying all the taxes that support the free ride of these Democrats. Without them, who will be left to pay more than half of them who have never done a day's work in their lives?
