THE DAY THE NEW MAYOR WAS GIVEN HIS OATH.

The Democrats played their usual hate towards the Republicans, with little notice from the audience, which occurred at the very end of the gala affair.
The tradition of the torch being past on to the new mayor by the old was not allowed by the state senator Gerratana, who chaired the event, with her leaving the now former mayor Timothy Stewart standing at the stage apron without her acknowledging his waiting only to leave with a sense of frustration.

The Democrats acting at their best, for the public, no less.

  4. If we have any civic teachers in New Britain, then I would be surprised. If this is the case, this teacher should be admonished for being crude and dishonest. A real civics teacher should be objective. This is not the case with this writer who seems to be quite ignorant.

  6. It isn't a big surprise that the Democrats of New Britain lack the graciousness expected of winners to those who ran against them...

  9. The written instructions, from my cild's 9th grade NBHS civics teacher, to her students, stated that only "credible sources such as the N.Y. Times, The Hartford Courant, The N.B. Herald, Time Magazine or Newsweek Magazine", were to be used for their current, events assignment. They were not allowed to use any internet sources at all. How can our children learn to be free thinkers when they are subjected to such blatent Lib Dem. censorship by their teachers.
