Mattabassett Planned Expansion is on Hold


Expansion of the Mattbassett Sewerage Plant in Cromwell , with a loss of Federal funds, in Jeopardy.

The loss of twenty five million dollars in federal funds may place the 100 million expansion plans on hold.

    It gets worse; the Rev. RahSheen Brown is elected to an aldermanic seat and his wife is appointed to a commission by O'Brien, all this although the Browns owe thousands in unpaid NB property taxes.

    Not finished yet; ironically, also elected to serve as constables, Peter Spano and James Rathbun also owe property taxes. Imagine that? CONSTABLES ! Talk about corruption! Only in New Britain.

  4. The main function of a constable in Connecticut is to collect unpaid property taxes through the service of tax warrants upon citizens who are delinquent in paying their taxes. Think Spano and Rathbun are qualified to do that?
