the best thing for Bozek to do is withdraw from the race. NB needs Steele and not this low life Lopes. With Bozek in the race it takes VOTES away from S
Bpzek is at least honest and we all know LOPES is a lowife.
With Bozek in the race, I agree with Anonymous poster #2; it reminds be of the effect that Pawlak had on the mayoral election. Both Pawlak and Bozek said that they would take votes away from their respective Democratic opponents - turned out to be the other way around for Pawlak and stands to be the same for Bozek. Although he appears to be a "young" 70 yrs. old, Bozek is out of touch with todays State house. He should hang it up!
On another issue, it makes me wonder why the State Elections Enforcement Commission did not consider denying Lopes public funding. Lopes' questionable character and his ethical lapses while an alderman in NB and as an aide to former Senator DeFronzo would seem to disqualify him in the eyes of law abiding citizens. Now he still works for DeFronzo and seems to be calling the shots in NB Democrat politics. Is McNamara, the Lesser dangling on the end of a string in DeFronzo's puppet show. I guess Pudlin is out - his portege' Trueworthy found that out.
Both Pawlak and Bozek have denied that they were set up to be shills for the Democrat "leadership" in NB. Personally, I can't believe Bozek would want Lopes to be elected; given Lopes' close relationship with DeFronzo and, given the adversarial history between DeFronzo and Bozek, that scenario - Lopes being elected - seems to me to be an implausible outcome, one that would never be desired by Bozek.
Also, my opinion is that it is DeFronzo that is calling the shots for Democrats in NB and not, Lopes. And, while I realize that it must be a "typo", the word is, "protege'. "

I'm voting for Rick Lopes. I'm sick of the Republican party in this town. We should bring on Erin Stewart as party chair and run some real state rep candidates in 2012.

Is this post a joke? If not, too bad! I believe you've gone mad.
Art Perry has a letter in The Herald today. While his letter doesn't name Lopes as his choice for 24th. Dist. Rep., Perry says that keith Bozek nor Steele can do the job.
If you know Art Perry, you know he's a big wheel union organizer for 1199, Health Care Workers Union. He really doesn't have to tell you who he is supporting - just another union shill supporting a socialist democrat.

There are three ways to help Tom Bozek in this abbreviated campaign, the second special election in as many winters for New Britain Voters.
1. Make telephone calls to voters.
2. Help reach family, friends and neighbors following the Christmas holiday.
3. Give your time, talent and efforts on Election Day for Tom Bozek whether it’s for an hour or the day, snow or shine

Lou Salvio is correct in calling Bozek a shill for the Democratic party after all he is a member of the NB Democratic town committee.
ReplyDeleteThe Spoiler for the lunatic socialist party.
I believe that is true that Bozek is a member of the town committee for the radical socialist Democratic party of New Britain!
ReplyDeleteDon't they judge you by the company you keep?
To know Tom, he talks a lot about dislike for socialists, but you ask a good question about his association with them, don't you?
